nyczar (Arab City) barely defeats ahuyton (Arab Bedouin) 61%-43%. The battle literally came down to the last turn as ahuyton masterly fought an evasive battle when the weight of my numbers began to turn the battle in my favor in the mid game. He almost won a draw with some great play.
Really makes me wonder if defeats like this ought to be rewarded. Maybe something that rewards games that end after 20 turns with the defeated earning a 40% or more rout %. perhaps a split of 3-1 or something. I am sure this has been talked about before but to me an awesome defeat should merit more than a shout out, they should get a point.

ruskicanuk (Romano-British 407-599AD) defeats shadowblack (Roman 105-25BC) 53-27
Shadow executed this game very well with a beautiful ambush. I happen to have just enough reserves to hold it off (thank god for Romano numbers!). Turned a flank which allowed for the rollup to counter his Legion steamroller. really enjoyed this game, thanks Shadowblack!

Good game. The Samnites were sloppy in their initial deployment and attack. The Carthaginians took full advantage and had an early lead. However the veteran Samnite units proved their worth as they slowly turned the tide in winning most of their melees.

Sometimes, all you can do is swallow your fear and charge. I had a lot of luck here.

klayeckles (persian) beats Nikiforosfokas (carthage) ...he surrenders 34-11
the persians had plenty of room to roam, and were able to encircle and isolate carthage troops, and the all important carthage elephant charges resulted in more harm than good.
