I'd also probably say rush to moscow, but not both that and moscow '41. More generally, I think following a natural historical sequence makes the most sense. However at the end of the day I don't have massively strong feelings about it, just happy to play! :D

I'd say 1 Moscow is enough. I don't want things to get stale. I'd say do the rush to Moscow and skip 41. But it's honestly not that big of a deal either way.

I would personally like to skip one of the two Moscow's. Have to be honest, i'm not too interested in playing the same map twice. Even if it is slightly different in circumstances. Doesn't matter to me which one gets skipped.

Probably just one Moscow map for me. Either one is fine. If I am still in the tournament! LOL!

I went back to the drawing board after that comic and this is the next piece of Panzer Corps madness. There would have been a lot of real life options for my rediscovered video aspirations, but I opted for Panzer Corps since I not only had a lot of fun in this tournament, but reasonable success as well. Strike when the iron is hot.. and we can hopefully agree on a major success in the striking out department. :)

While most of it worked ok (minor technicalities to improve like mic hum), I couldn't implement it in the forum in the proper way (Video Tags fail 'Too few characters...'). For those with the ability to embed correctly: Any help is very much appreciated.

Edit:
A link alone would have looked pitiful even 20 years in the past ... can't let that slide.
But this is the tournament player mentality right on display - find a way to make it work!

I have to agree with Hansstory. One Moscow map is just enough for this type of tournament (we are losing lot of players each round :D
More balanced map is 1941 (soviets have a solid chance to win) but let the majority decide. Rush to Moscow is F1 race.
Germans will win but who will be faster?

Thanks to a432 for vote idea and also for our interesting match in Greece scenario.
Rush to Moscow scenario is very unequal and it will be played as final match by ones who passed tournament without defeats.
It would be better to play next tour in a wonderful Kiev scenario.
I vote
NO to rush to Moscow
YES to Moscow 41

Hello, I participated in the tournament, and I want to admit that Russian players cheat, I rebooted the router 4 times in one turn, at the Russian forum we were asked to win by the price, rishat cheats he told me about it, I do not want to participate anymore in deception, I had to leave the tournament, I was threatened with ban on the forum by russia.

France and Greece I won not honestly, rishat said he knows another way how to bypass the defense of the game, these Americans do not guess that I'm cheating (rishat words), I do not want to engage in deception. You can see how many times I restarted the game.

Are you serious, man?

We played like 3 turns... 1st attacker turn was pretty normal and since first response I'm like "That numbers don't add up". That's just not the rng of the game... I know it would be cheap to say he cheats afterwards when I remind everyone of it before, so I probably would have taken the high road and just accepted it as bad fate. Up until your response.

I worked a lot with statistics in my life, stock exchange, betting odds... and normally I'm about 2% off at the most even before doing any kind of calculation. I would say he won the lottery in our matchup by turn 3.
Stalinorgel, the big russian arty on German infantry in open field... russian pioniers going at it: No dmg at all?
My MIG intercepting a BF in an unexpected encounter. I lose 7 planes...
Wehrmacht Infantry in the river... 4-0 prediction going to 2-2 in reality... in the end I lost the same in strength against a unit in the river than the other way around.
Stuka going for a minor tank: 1 damage.
Stuff like that happens, but not in one turn without any kind of good dice role in the other direction. It just doesn't. This game rolls so many dice... the curve always bounces back to even it out in general. It's not 100% rule, but with every throw it's more unlikely that it stays one-sided.
It feels like the predictions are not only wrong all of the time, it's like all the units are totally different than in any training game. I played 7 games, the beginning 10 times in a row against tough doods in this tournament. I know what a unit can do... and how the rng in that game works.

IT'S OFF!

The gut feeling is: Some values are manipulated to be higher in reality than displayed in the game. I don't know if that is possible or if that is what happens, but it's how it feels. Very subtle, not that brutal of an impact, but statistically unable to overcome. Maybe it's just a smart way of reloading combined with bad luck on my turns... but I stay by my word: It's off!

However that turns out: I thought your comments before were pretty obnoxious when the first cheating incident happened. But it takes a lot of guts to resist peer pressure and speak your mind. RESPECT TO YOU FOR COMING CLEAN!
To me you are on the same courage-level like AMDOnline... It's just an innocent little tournament, but that kind of behaviour matters. ;)

At the first incident on all Russian players were pressed, and on me too, I knew that rishat cheats, rishat told me about it in private messages as he cheats.

Hello goose_2, I'm ready to swear on the bible my words are true. Ask for statistics of my reboots and you'll see I cheated in France and Greece, all Russian players are cheating in multiplayer. I decided to tell about this, and I stumbled with insults and threats addressed to me at the Russian forum.
