Cunningcairn's Germans 91% overcame Claytonengel's Ottoman's 100% in a nail biter.

The best use of fortifications I have witnessed playing this game. Them Turks are going to cause a few headaches!

My Morea Byz 47/58 81% defeated Allendeuce's Hungarians 44/42 100% in a very entertaining game, with the advantage swinging one way then the other....like most of our games:-)

results for the later germans:

germans: 21/60 vs. Enakan castilians 54/50
germans: 20/60 vs Burgot Portugese 59/58
germans: 44/60 vs Mcficivo Byzantines 59/58
Byzantines showed up with a cav horde and tried a beautiful reverse flank move..which had the swiss in desarray, then tried a flank move on the other side which saw the german right crumbling. fortunately for the germans, the medium troops in the center hills were a wee bit tougher than the byzants, and they were able to threaten his interior flanks and the spectacular cavalry manouvers fell just short of succeeding.... awesome match up, and almost went the other way.

Heavily wooded terrain kept the Germans concealed and prevented the Byzantines using their more mobile army.
