The official installation under slitherine on the root drive that is never altered and then a copy on a seperate partition to which I add all the mods/copies/alterations/experiments. I do it by just overwriting the relvant folders, I dont use JGMe. I recently reinstalled everything on 'c' drive and as usual made a copy for mods on my 'd' drive. I then applied the GC39 extended to the installation of the 'd' drive as usual and ran the 'd' drive .exe as usual but when I run it for some wierd reason unknown to me I get four different GC39's coming up on my game menu folder. This has not happened before.
Q: when applying your GC revision mod or any other of your mods without jgme what folders exactly and where do I overwrite/copy/add. thanks for info and I apologise if this has already been answered.
In my case i have to overwrite the subfolder(s) in c:\program files(x86)\slitherine\Panzer Corps Gold Edition\DLC\
For example i zip the vanilla folder DLC\GC40\ and then i overwrite it with the GC 40 folder from this project. If i want to revert to vanilla state, i just unzip the zipped vanilla GC 40 folder and overwrite.

Given that, I hate to mention it, but the Val armor needs to be upgraded in the Sov and captured Ger Vals, too. Sorry.
Done!

A newbie question... the Grand Campaign, how to start it? Is it just the scenarios in the main menu, or do I open up the other scenarios folder in the main new game menu and start the first in the list of grand campaigns?

Besides the campaign icons there's also a document ledger icon, that's for selecting the GCs

Niki (je crois que tu parles français), est-ce que par hasard tu aurais conservé la version modifiée de la campagne du jeu de base ?

Je fais référence au premier lien ici qui est mort : http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 64#p618664

Merci !

Play Afrika Korps with DLC 40 Core

This version allows you to play Afrika Korps with a DLC 40 core. When you start the campaign, it will prompt you to import a DLC 40 core.
Afrika Korps_DLC40_Core.rar
(398.71 KiB) Downloaded 235 times
Installation:

Extract the file in the folder documents\mygames\panzer corps\mods
Start the game, chose new game, click on the classified folder (not on the palm tree). Scroll down to the "user-made" campaigns and chose Afrika Korps.

You must own the Afrika Korps expansion or Panzer Corps Gold in order to play!

You can play the campaign from the start with a German army, or if you so desire, you can also purchase Italian units throughout the campaign.
Since the DLC 40 core is much more experienced than the vanilla AK core, it is recommended to play the campaign on a higher level of difficulty (FM or higher).

I was thinking to clear the deployment pool after the deployment phase and reset prestige but for now i have not done so. Recommendation is welcome.

Unfortunately, I have noted a glitch. When i began playing the first mission, it was raining heroes for my units. I think this is a hard coded issue, heroes are awarded faster in the vanilla Afrika Korps.

It is soft coded in the gamerules file. Since AK is in the main DATA folder, changing it may be an issue.
The kill counts for hero's is different in the GC and main campaigns:
[50-100], [101-200], [201-500] - Standalone campaigns
[100-300], [301-1000], [1001-2000] - GC
[50-150], [151-500], [501-1000] - Us Corp

Oleh Dir, Albert Kerscher, and others will get their 2nd and maybe 3rd hero's with first combat.

Edit:
New thought: changing the gamerules114.pzdat file would allow a fix without messing with the other main campaigns for anyone who doesn't play with 1.14 rules.

Edit 2: Since your mod goes into the mygames/mod folder one can edit the gamerule.pzdat file in it's Data folder.

Extract and overwrite the campaign.pzdat file in the folder Slitherine/panzer corps/DLC/GC44West

Hi Nico,

A few things I noticed while using your excellent equiipment file:
Ihe SE Ju87R is only available in 1941, not in 1940 like the normal Ju87R.
all three variants of SE 45 Infantry are a differnet series from other SE infantry.
39 cavalry isn't available in time for Poland.

Knowing me, a project is never really closed ;)
There have been 33 updates to the equipment file. I definitely do not rule out that there won't be more updates in the future.
But for now, no update is planned. The project is always open to suggestion though.

Nico

While thinking about redoing Allied Corps, I noticed that the UK M3 an M5 do not have reconmove as the US ones do.

I don't think the Lee/Grant should have reconmove though, unless you give it the Matilda's as well. :D

Hi dear modder! I want to give you a short friendly advice. I was playing the old vanilla GC years ago and I do not want to start your updates because they are too scattered. If you gather all your equipment upgrades, MPC's, maps, changes and all files you've created into one folder will be better for the neutral fan. And one more thing: why almost all german units has their SS versions and soviet not. I prefer new models than SS because when I'm going to buy my army i do only SS and regular units nobody buy them. I don't like them, they make the game easier. And SS units make SE units needless, it will be better if you use one of them, not both. Thanks.

I prefer to have a choice. I chose not to put everything in one folder. I am inclined though to present MPC 35-41 in one downloadable file once it is completed.

Player's must have the freedom to create an army core consisting of Wehrmacht units or Waffen SS or a combination of both.
The equipment file update project is the equipment file i started to change and expand for personal use; and then i decided to share it with the community.
Personally, if i would play with Waffen SS units only, i would up the level of difficulty pretty much.

The Soviet Corps expansion does not warrant the creation of purchasable guard tanks or am i missing something extraordinary here...
