To the Royalist Captain challenging the Lowland Scots, Scots are defending with the Covenanters.
Thanks
Thanks
I think there is something wrong with your challenge, it shows force size custom 1300-1080 while as we both have +100 points should be on a pair. Besides, as defending player I select terrain and I select agricultural, not hilly.deadtorius wrote:Battle for the South west is up with the extra 100 points.

The points should be 1300 Royalist to 1200 Parliament as only the Royalists can use bonus points in the SW.Aryaman wrote:I think there is something wrong with your challenge, it shows force size custom 1300-1080 while as we both have +100 points should be on a pair. Just wondering why you think the parliament can't use bonus pt's in the south west using the linked friendly-controlled region at 50% value rule ? I am missing somethingIronclad wrote:The points should be 1300 Royalist to 1200 Parliament as only the Royalists can use bonus points in the SW.Aryaman wrote:I think there is something wrong with your challenge, it shows force size custom 1300-1080 while as we both have +100 points should be on a pair. The South West isn't a friendly region for Parliament. My reading of the rules is to use points in enemy territory the source region for the points needs to be adjacent to the enemy target.iandavidsmith wrote: Just wondering why you think the parliament can't use bonus pt's in the south west using the linked friendly-controlled region at 50% value rule ? Thanks - my favourite opponents, not.Warlord wrote:To the Royalist Captain challenging the Lowland Scots, Scots are defending with the Covenanters.

Fortunately I think the map is right - but I hadn't spotted the discrepancy with Keyth's official figures.rbodleyscott wrote:I am confused by the chart that purports to show the Late 1643 results, although it in fact seems to bear no resemblance to the actual matchups and results. Is the wrong chart being displayed or what?
e.g. My games were
A win vs Cavehobbit in Central-West. (14% to 45%).
A defeat vs Aryaman in mid-East (58% to 32%).
You could be correct I am working on confusion here and saw something about extra points in the chart so set it up as that. I will delete the game and wait to see what the final ruling is before I go back to trying to set it up again.I think there is something wrong with your challenge, it shows force size custom 1300-1080 while as we both have +100 points should be on a pair. Agricultural will be fine, suits us both.Ironclad wrote:Thanks - my favourite opponents, not.Warlord wrote:To the Royalist Captain challenging the Lowland Scots, Scots are defending with the Covenanters.

As defender you get to choose the terrain between agricultural and hilly so which do you prefer?
