An eventually very close and brutal match where the Bohemians cleverly and ruthlessly initially shot away most support for Pikes and Keils and a flurry of poor moral results left disrupted Keils and Men at Arms seemingly at the Bohemian mercy. Fortunately the Keils recovered and ground away the Bohemians, all now low on ammunition, and after a (very fortuitous) rally bought time for the Keils to carry on grinding were on the verge of snatching a victory until the very last combat took the Germans over the 60% too for a deserved draw. Nail biting stuff thanks for the game.

A shift to the right allowed the Germans to move Men at Arms and medium spears behind the Danish Keils and Scandinavian foot. This game was very close until that move was successful. A deployment that was frustrated for a considerable time by a clever Danish defence of woods and rough ground. Thanks to Ray for the game.

On the last turn of this game, near enough every unit involved in combat were routed due to failing tests. I have never seen a collapse like it before. Thanks Mike, all of my opponents and the organisers.

The Rus used the supply wagons as a position to hold and suffered heavy blows from the English longbow. The Rus cavalry manoeuvred to the rear of the English army and inflicted heavy casualties, but the English rout the main body of the Rus army.

It appears Grahamed never posted his 5-March-23 victory over me.

The longbowmen were a problem early on, bringing superior firepower compared to the amount of crossbowmen I had. My knights managed to break through some of them, while my opponents knights also hit my forces apart. Fortunately wzfcns' knights ended up pursuing some of my units after breaking them, letting my melee take out the remaining longbowmen.
