Greyus Mousus is hereby assigned to govern Hispania Ulterior, he will take on the Army of Sertorius.
For the future every engagement will be fought follwing the "best out of seven" system ( guess it´s used for the NHL play off). Means the side that first wins 4 battles will be considered the winner.
SPQR - the Censor of Rome
Oh Censor, I assume as a rebel Sertorius has some Roman forces with him? ( and thus be using the Spanish Lusitian list??)
Also, truly must I fight 4-7 battles with the same armies vs TJD??

Or maybe are 4-7 counting the battles that the Legatus of TGM have to fight?

I don't think so, GrayusMouserus. I think you'll play Klaus in those games, and I do think the best of 7 is a bit much. Suggest a revision of that rule. Two out of 3 sounds good to me.
Best,
Tim

It is time to subjugate the Cilician Pirates in Cyprus and to liberate the island in cooperation with our new ally Ptolemy. I wish to take Senator's Morbio and BurinusAgricolae with me as my legates to command the VIIthe and 8th Legions while I will personally lead the VIth.

Gentlemen, gentlemen I have one of these at home already I was actally after the blond one with fair skin
I do believe we have some willing volunteers in Tophat and Macsen so please feel free to invite them to the pleasures of Galatia.
As for my keen lieutenants please dip into your own purses and find what you can the rules I believe (hmm just realised my modified list varies from this dang) 400pts ROR Late Republican Roman, 3 Generals, no allies.
You can expect to play TJD in one of his many guises 400pts 3 Generals and up to one ally
Klaus if we are allowed to design our own forces these days why still the restriction forcing us on the number of Generals?

I believe macsen and i are raising legions to go north in support of governor rexhurly. No one it seems is headed for hispania and governor TGM's aid. I'm not even sure that after our acceptance of an alliance with egypt that we sent anyone to egypt!

At no small expense I have raised a legion and paid many a seasoned veteran a hefty bounty to return to the eagle! So the troops I bring north will not be new to battle.

I've set up a quick spreadsheet to keep track of campaigns and battles. I'm not quite clear yet on who is fighting whom and how many times; I'm waiting to hear from Klaus. This is the best I can do so far. Some names aren't mentioned, like Supervark and Tullius, because I'm unsure of where they're going. Sorry, guys. I hope we can get things more clearly organized quickly, and maybe a SS is the way to do it.

It seems pretty simple. The ruling party needs to step up and give clear orders: for example Proconsular army formed by Mr X with 3 legions commanded by generals a b c, invade Albbogades NOW etc....issue the challenges and WIN

It should be simple, but it's not working out that way, and if my PMs are any indication people are getting impatient.

Legatus Turk stands ready to fight awaiting orders. Are we to await the arrival of Romes enemies at the very Gates of Rome before the Senate can make a decision. The seas are contolled by the Cilician Pirates allow my Legion the IX to send these thieves to the bottom of the seas. By Jupiter make a decision before Rome is overun

Going to kill Romes enemmies given half the chance. We are all chaffung at the bit to purge the world of non Roman people and our leaders sit dithering unable to vome to a decision. Action they only thing we need. Oh a drop or two of wine some wolf nibble chips and larks in aspic would not go amiss.

Looks like we have enough players after all with the new guys, so I'll be taking the max number. Me, ericdoman1, Fedem and Supervark will go against Mithradates.
I suggest the other two armies take more people in too, since it's bound to be annoying to be in the campaign yet not fight.

I just peeked at the spreadsheet and was surprised to see my name there!
I don't see myself as an active player in the forum because I don't want to commit to the time it will take to read all the posts, vote on things or whatever.
However, if you want someone to fight battles (i.e. be the enemy), then just pm me with the army name, the size of army, any constraints I may have (e.g. no elephants, open terrain, etc.) and who the opponent and I'll give my best efforts in trying to win and will endeavour to turn matches around ASAP.
Cheers,
Morbio

Romans,
you´ve misunderstood the 4 out of 7 rule.
So let´s play an easier system. The foes of Rome ( Tim and me) will take on each commander of a Proconsular army twice,
so a Roman Proconsular Army consisting of 4 Legions will fight 8 battles.
Result depends on the overall score.
In case a roman Governor takes on Sertorius for example, only two battles will be fought.
I like Tim´s spreadsheet.
Turk still has to be assigned to an army.
Cheers, Klaus
