Thank you. For the Russian side, however, the scenario is only playable to a limited extent. There are no instructions, hints or pictures. To win, it is enough if the Russian side manages to defend even a single victory hex to the end. That is easy.

However, when I later wanted to recapture this village, the Ukrainian AI had very bad news for me.

Well for the Russians it's even easier by the 22nd move Ukrainians ran out and I even captured their positions from where they were born )))) I had to click for 8 moves and wait for the 30th move ) In general interesting and thanks Toby72 for an interesting evening, Happy New Year to you mate )

The only thing you could do would be to set the level to very hard when playing with the Russian side. Wish you a happy new year.

Well, besides Germans, Ukrainians can add Poles and French mercenaries as well as old Nato equipment that instead of cutting for scrap metal is sent as help to Ukrainians ))))) But the AI is still stupid so let's leave politics and celebrate the new year 2025 wishing that all wars on earth would stop and people could finally agree without spilling blood ) Happy New Year friend all the best to you hope you will continue to please us with your creativity )

I saw a video about the German Marder 1A3 in combat in the region near Kursk. It did well and the Ukrainians praise it. That was the reason why I included it. When the time comes, I will certainly have North Koreans fighting for the Russian side.

Here is a last attempt from me to publish my campaign “Stahlgewitter” for Modern Conflicts.
It works for me anyway.
You have to start this campaign from a save file. This means that I have created an additional scenario in which you can first buy and set up your units yourself. Once you have won this mission, the actual campaign begins.


After extracting, open the SG folder.
It contains “Stahlgewitter” and the Save folder.
In the save folder is the save file with the name “Exercise, Round 1.pzsav”. This file must be copied and pasted under C:\Users\name\Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps\Save. See pictures. Paste the entire “Stahlgewitter” folder under C:\Users\name\Documents\My Games\Panzer Corps\mods.

Then start Modern Conflicts as usual and select Load game in the menu and select the saved save file “Exercise”. I hope it works like this. If it shows a black screen it could be due to the version you are currently playing with. For me it shows version 1.32. “Stahlgewitter” is a mini-campaign (fictional) with 7 missions. It is about the battle for Kiev on the Ukrainian side in the first weeks of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
It is available in German and English.

I'm not sure if it will work for everyone but I think it's worth a try. Otherwise we'll have to wait for the new version of Modern Conflicts.
