The Vikings brought no light infantry, which cost them a lot as they approached the German army on the flat plain. However, there were still enough in the melee to get enough good impacts and flanks to lead to victory.

Despite all the rough ground and patches of forest, the Vikings managed to use their little firepower to keep some melees in the open, which hurt the medium foot. Additionally, the heavy foot and berserkers managed to hold long to get some flanks in.

Lots of maneuvering followed by a pike on pike scrum with crossbow other foot and knights mixed in. The German war wagon was caught undeployed by a pike block and destroyed. Fun game could have gone either way.

In the two battles the mobility of turkish ottoman lead the fights , against english they turned around and they pricked as soon as they could
Against danish , there was a river to cross before reaching crossbowmen and lights in rough ground on the right danish flank , on the other flank the danish cavalry failed to destroy enough turkish horsemen

A really close game. Both sides had periods when they were on top, but the Persians just managed to tough it out and see it through in the end.

This was an unusual battle, by mid game the Vikings were up 20 points and just needed one more cohesion test to go their way and it would have been game over and a good win. But the Andalusians held out and eventually swung it back in their favor for an unexpected result.
