A lot of manoeuvering by the Carthaginians finally came to fruition by bringing their stronger units against weaker opposition and allowing their superior numbers in cavalry to count. A good game not reflected by the score.

Stones1985 (Achaemenid Persian with Greek Allies) drew with Challenge1 (Carthaginians).

Stones scored 57, Challenge1 scored 47.

The game started a little slowly with a lot of manouevring. But as the armies closed there was some early shooting successes by the Persians being cancelled out when the Carthaginians got stuck into melee. A really close battle throughout with the scores neck and neck for long periods.

a wild battle with the indos getting a significant lead near the end, as the spartans were poised on the edge of routing they made a final push, breaking 4 indos in the final minutes to push the game to a draw....a fun one!
