Alexmike1 Carthaginian (Hannibal in Africa) beat Phlewis Galatian 260-63BC 66-41.

The Galatians came on in a dense mass of warbands with their flanks protected. At the shock of contact it looked like the Carthaginians might go down to a quick defeat. However, the Carthaginian centre held long enough for the flanks to start picking apart the Galatian formation. Enough warbands were isolated and defeated to swing the victory, though the Galatians fought with their usual fervour.

English held a good defence position on the hills. Portugese tried to attack from left flank and nearly success.However,English army won the fight on right flank and center at the same time.

Battle of the flanks. I got to their right just before GDod could put mine to the sword. That - and the stubbornness of the Low Countries spears - made the difference.

This was a close run thing due to the magnificent use of light horse by Random27. Not sure
I managed to break any of them. Constantly charging into flanks and rear, they saw off most
of my bowmen , LF and cav, and some crossbows. Just had enough armour to see out the game.

Aetius (Carthaginians) defeats Stew101 (Persians) 60-33

There were no hills for the Persians but a big patch of rough in the middle of the map. There the Sabara units duked it out with the Carthaginian medium infantry, while the heavies in both armies fought on the sides. The Persian mediums put up a good resistance, and broke up the Carthaginian right side badly, but the center and other side were broken up and slowly the 60 threshold was passed. GG!

Rafydedel Khazar 568-737ad defeats IMC German foot tribes 260-599 ad with Roman 44-12

The German line of warbands slowly retreated in a small plain between two woods, while their cavalry tried to sneak through the forest. When the khazars horse archer got imprudently close enough, all the German warbands rushed in an attempt to trap them, which was partly successful. But as the space between the forest became a little larger, and the advance of the warband more difficult and a bit chaotic due to their habit of pursuing, the Khazars were able to flank some units. at the same time, the fights in the forest turned to the advantage of the khazars médium foot, and eventually to an encirclement of the German. Thanks IMC for A great game with a lot of challenge.

A very difficult battle... in the end, Dacian infantry prevailed. while Cavalry combat was slightly in favour of the Frankish army.
