Issuing challenges . . .

It seems to me that players have developed a number of different ways of doing this, which is OK up to a point, but all players should be posting their challenges in the "Arrange Your Matches" here thread and then you should all be copying and pasting that challenge into a PM to your opponent. It is not really enough just to do one of these two things. Firstly, some players rely heavily on their PM's because of a busy lifestyle and they have set them up so they get a notification when one is received. Secondly, it is very helpful to me as the organiser to see the challenges posted openly online because I can tell who is active and who is not replying promptly to challenges. I also need to see this information for adjudication purposes in matches they do not get played or finished. If you just send a PM to your opponent then I have no idea what has happened and it may affect the outcome of the adjudication.

So please, in future, can everyone post in the open forum and then copy that post as a PM. Thanks.

Nope. Choosing an army is part of the job, using it efficiently is the real main stuff. That's why FoG II is such a great game :D

A result from a couple of days ago, my oponent hasn't posted his win so i'll do it,

Aryaman (Seleucid) beat markwatson360 (Roman) 64-54

A very close game that went down to the last few men desperately slugging it out, in fact when i sent my last turn I was up 63-58 (I think) but wouldn't you just Know it, he rallied one and one of mine broke to reverse the result GGGRRR brilliant game though , well played Aryaman.

Division A

ZygfrydDeLowe (Indians) beats Snugglebunnies(Seleucids) 73 - 48

We both routed our respective left flanks, but I managed to retain some small advantage.
But when our forces came back from the flanks, one unit of massed archers managed to hold out for 2 turns against both elephants and some Medium foot.
And that gave me the time necessary to perform some more flank charges, and ultimately Seleucid forces collapsed.

Thank you for the game Snugglebunnies!
