Battle in the desert. The Sword Bretheran knights counterattacking almost turned the tide. Good game.

Badger73 (Seleucid 166-125 BC with Jewish 163-111 BC allies) defeated Linko (Carthaginian 235-145 BC) - 46:7

A stream with several fords ran along the entire side of the map on the Seleucid left with the rest of the battlefield consisting of rolling hills and clear terrain. The whole contingent of Carthage's Numidian light horse sought to sweep around the Seleucid left from across the stream but were stymied at the fording sites by Seleucid skirmishers and their allied Jewish zealots. Meanwhile, the Seleucids commmited all their heavy cavalry to their right flank where both cavalry forces engaged in strength. Seleucid cataphracts with Jewish Xystophori horsemen eventually prevailed and began threatening the Carthagenian left flank. In the center, Carthagenian spearmen and their Spanish scutarii were heavily outmatched by Seleucid pikemen and Romanized Agyraspids. A good match against a great opponent.

Another incredibly close battle and very well played.

63 - 60.

Very close throughout. I was lucky in that I was able to charge a pike block with mass archers and survived and on my next turn rout it. I had some chances to win but TC rallied whilst in combat and or held firm when fragmented. At the end I lost a LH, 3% for TC and that made it a draw but I had rallied a mass archer unit from rout so a draw was a fair result in the end.

NB Dreddradish has been out of contact for some time now and we are likely to award all games to his opponent 40-15 as specified in the rules. I will confirm later.

Div B is hotting up and looks like it might be a straight shoot out between angusosborne and Morat who have both made impressive starts. Don't count anyone out yet though, there's still a way to go and it only takes a couple of slip ups.

Div C is well through. Yinsd002 has finished and set a massive target which may prove beyond anyone. May be a fight for second and third.

In a chaotic and fierce battle the Norman forces of gort7078 defeated the Byzantines of Trueknight 37-62! It was a back and forth battle well fought by my opponent! It was my Franks first victory after several close loses! Thanks for a good game and good luck Trueknight!
