Morat (French/Vikings) beat Rob123 (Arab Conquest) 61-40

Armies met between two sizeable woods. Flanking Arab cavalry held up for just long enough by lancers, allowing French heavy foot and horse to break into the centre and on the left. Ultimately the stubbornness of the French heavy foot decided the day.

I think there is a mistake, I have never played another game against Najanaja with Ancient British 60BC – 80AD + Roman army. The only match remains with his incorrect army "Ptolymaic 55BC + Roman" won by him 61-39.

Finally a victory in this division! The Cypriots deployed quite a shooty army with plenty of massed archers, crossbows and medium cavalry while I took a more traditional infantry heavy force. His strong cavalry flank took too long to get into gear (and spent a lot of time chasing my jinetes and light foot around) what allowed my mostly infantry force to make it to his bowline mostly intact and defeat them on the flat. Well-played, at this level of skill any victory feels like an achievement!
