Yes uzbek, I got the idea regardless these damn translators

Regarding the unhistorical events, dont you worry, as Battlefield: Europe, if you play the historical way you will be able to recreate the history. And by the contrary, if you decide to "break the rules" you can get a nice mix of fictional and historical events.
And regarding the visuals I decided to stick with the "vanilla" game styled icons, I like them more. Not to mention the fantastic job of all the unit makers that prefer that style too

Uzbek, Those are Balck's units. He likes 3D units and used to belong to this forum before he got banned. He has his own style. Some people like them. I am with Akkula on the units styled in the vanilla versions for continuity and uniformity. Having a bunch of different camouflaged units is bad enough to try to keep track of them in a game. But this is PZC and you can make it the way you want it. That is what is so great about it.

Hi Akkula. Finally found time to get back to your mod. I am up to Narwa. In the north opposite Narwa I cannot cross the river anywhere, not even a bridge unit can enter a river hex. It is still frozen. I can cross any other river as normal. is this intended? I have 1/3 of my army sitting helpless right now. I was surprised because in the Dniepr scenarios I was able to use bridging units very effectively.
Thanks again for the great mod.

Glad your back Phil.
The impossibility to cross the Narva River is on purpose. Historically the Narva garrison offered heavy resistance and the Soviet forces couldnt take the city for many months, that is way you have to encircle it by taking objectives near, but you will have to fight for Siiversti which is located near the passable area of the river, expect heavy losses. I will try to clarify that in the scenario briefing in the next mod release. (By the way I suggest you to download the 1.2 version you havent yet, it is compatible with your previous savegames, dont worry).
Best regards.
Akkula.

Ahh thanks Akkula. Backed up a couple turns and found the crossing point. I didn't take heavy casualties at all from the crossing. The AT unit got suppressed quickly and nothing attacked my tanks as they crossed one by one. I did find the top German infantry unit could attack but I could not target it. That unit also near the end for some reason didn't exert any ZOC and I could move past it like it wasn't there. Managed the DV on the last turn.
I meant to ask earlier. What is the limit on Guard units? I have 3 and it's been well over a year since my last one. Also I have a Guards Katyushka that has no upgrade path.

Hi Phil, dont worry, in a couple of scenarios you will get a new shinny Guards unit
Regarding the Guards Katyusha unit, by May 1944 the new variant will be available, so by that date you will got the chance to update it.
Best regards.

Okay people, I need your opinion.
I want to get rid of those ugly "A", "B", etc hexes, so I decided to make a subtle way to indicate the reinforcements entry points, here is a sample:
What do you think?. It is too subtle or too strong?, or maybe is just the thing

?

It sounds a good idea, but they were too subtle for me as I couldn't spot them on the map.
If you are using a particular type of terrain to mark the points, maybe you could highlight them in the example?

I agree. As for the new menu it looks quite fancy, I like that.

Hi guys, here, the hexes are the ones inside the red remark:
I am afraid to make them darker because in winter they will look ugly.

Hello Akkula,
Excellent work

, but am I wrong, or the debriefings of missions no. 08. Moscow (MV), 09. Offensive (Loss) and 14. Seydlitz (Loss) are missing?

Okay, I will unveil a secret weapon of the Red Air Force: the first rocket engine aircraft ever built, the Bereznyak-Isayev BI-1 (two variants)
If you do well and fulfill some special request by Stavka you will receive this lethal fighter as a reward. Now the Me-163 has a challenge!
Regards.

Hello there.
I want to post some info about the actual state of the mod.. and the future of it for those who are interested.
Finally after many months of work and with massive help from this fantastic community I am almost ready lo release the major new version of "Eastern Front: Soviet Storm", with luck by the end of the next week (keep crossing my fingers). Of course that will be the beginning of much more work to do to improve the scenario (or any other aspect of the mod) as the players report bugs, suggestions, mistakes, etc.... but that will be not the only focus of my work. What it does mean?, okay, I will explain it.
As most of you know, this project is focused and dedicated to the heroic Red Army, and it will be that way...
BUT many players asked me about the possibility to play as German: in order to thank the community the interest in my work I will start to work in
some German content for this mod. Yes, you hear/read right

. That is why, in this upcoming release, you will find a new "neutral" UI in preparation for a big change.
My idea is to add TWO German campaigns:
1- A 10-15 scenario campaign.
2- A big scenario, not as huge as "The Great Patriotic War", but a specific theater of operations. I promise it will be fun.
Where those campaigns will take place?, I dont know yet

, suggestions accepted of course. I want to be as original as it was "The Forgotten Campaigns".
Of course that will not end there as I have more ideas to add content to my project for both Soviet and German side: historical and non-historical stuff.
Keep in mind that after the release of "The Great Patriotic War" my main focus will be the improvement of the big scenario for the next months, so everyone please be patient regarding the German content... it will take an interesting amount of time as the knowledge regarding Wehrmacht is limited.
So... I hope people you all like these ideas as I wish to keep creating fresh content for my mod and the community for a loooong time (while my personal life allow it of course

)
Best regards, Akkula.
PS: please excuse my bad english
