I started the "goodies" thread which you can find here:
http://www.streitmacht.com/viewforum.php?f=358
Sofar you can download the flowcharts and your own Legacy of Versailles startscreen for Panzer Corps of the vanilla edition of the mod.
The countdown clock to the release of this mod has been activated.

Nice

But wait a second - if my minimal knowledge of German is correct, there are no Russian missions in this campaign? Only Europe, Africa, UK and US? Interesting pseudo history, and a nice twist from GTPG campaign (so that LoV isn't the same).

Yep, what I thought, but then there's that post from Nikivdd about the Finnish map being considered for the start of Op. Barbarossa.

That's correct, there is no Eastern Front in the vanilla edition. But when it comes to EF there is already stuff to chose from: there is Bebro's Inferno, the official DLC east and later this month Allied General: The Soviet campaign.
There will be an Eastern Front in LoV - Ultimate edition and the EF will receive priority when i arrive at the development of 1941. And players won't have to wait another year for the first Ultimate content to go live either...
It took one year (i began making the first maps in December 2012) to create all 63 maps and scenarios, playtesting, bug hunting, translations and corrections (into German) and survive 3 official Panzer Corps patches.
We had to draw the line somewhere. If we really wanted to add the EF, than it might have taken us another year or LoV might have end in just another project that "died".
The Renntier scenario that was posted last week, is a scenario that will be
one of the entry points of Barbarossa, in LoV - Ultimate.

Wow!
I might sound repetitive but congratulations on the effort! I didn't think anything bad about having no EF. As a matter of fact I think it brings nice and fresh perspective on things. As you said there is more then enough stuff on EF already. DLCs are perhaps as broad perspective on EF as it gets. Bebro also has nice campaign but I don't know when it will be finished and polished (it has minor bugs here and there).
Nevertheless I eagerly wait for LoV to come aboard. As you said resistance from this game is futile:)

Thanks for early release!
Few questions:
1) Under which settings it is best played 1.14 or 1.21?
2) I see there are 37 core units in first mission?! How many core units will be there at the end?
GTPG had around 50 CU if I recall well. I would really like if core would be around 40 units strong, as more units then this would take too much time to handle. I have nothing against large cores, I think GC had around 55 core units, but there has to be some limit, as well as gradual growing. With this many units in the beginning I fear there will be 70 core units at the end
3) Which difficulty is best played on so it doesn't become a cakewalk?
4) I see there is no GME part. Does this mean there will be only default PC units and graphics? I see that first mission has supposedly Czech units which are German friendly blue units in fact
Thanks once again

I need to hire a secretary
1) v1.21 (with reform units on)
2) The number of core units increased drastically by the introduction of core ships but that has been an experiment. Number of core units you can deploy varies from 2 (+ SE units) to 60 (+ SE units) with ups and downs.
3) The campaign has been tested by most betatesters on colonel difficulty. I suppose you will find out soon enough if Colonel is a "cakewalk" or not.
4) That is why this version was baptised LoV-Vanilla. It uses the stock units from the game. The download does include a lightly tweaked e-file. GME is indeed, not required at all. Yes, with the Czechs, Spanish and Finns i had to improvise. The ultimate will require no improvisation regarding that matter.
The development/playtesting of the maps and scenarios has taken almost a year which was not a walk in the park, with the 3 Panzer Corps patches during that period.

Great! Thanks for the info

Most things where as I thought
Don't hire a secretary, I won't be bothering you in a while, since there are 63 scenarios to go through

As it has always been, it is a great pleasure to create free content to the great Panzer Corps

The first scenario was not easy at all, so colonel will do... The second one in Poland has 35 turns! Oh my god... I will split play of single scenario in several days, I'm running on fumes energy wise now
