On the left , some rough hilly marsh ground did not permit to fight quickly , the greek center destroyed slowly the kyrenean center , in the same time the kyrenean wings won against greek ones

Seleucid elephants vexed Roman infantry as pikemen held the center allowing Jewish zealots to turn the flank using rough terrain to their advantage. Fine game with a fun opponent.

A non-open stream divided the battlefield which each side could leverage somewhat. Seleucid skirmishers and elephants were able to constrain Sarmatian lancers long enough for the pikeman to catch up and successfully melee against enemy heavy cavalry. A match of deliberate maneuver and challenging play. Thanks for a good game.

Tough encounter with the Romans taking an early lead with the Legions crushing all those that stood in their way in the opening exchanges. But the horde absorbed the damage and the Empires stormtroopers were engulfed in a sea of Tartan Ewoks.

A wide open plain, I tried to catch his mounted but was unable to do so before general fighting broke out all along the line. With no real advantage the fighting see sawed back and forth with both side winning on opposite flanks. Much scrambling later, and the not insignificant favour of the Gods, proved enough to tip the scales.

The Normans had large forests in their centre and left while the Vikings had a larger forest on their left. There was a bit of rough going in the centre. The Normans deployed entirely to their left and it took me a while to figure out how to respond. Initially I retreated on my right worried about being outflanked by lancers, and attacked through the rough ground.

The attack was a mixed bag, some of medium foot ventured out and were slaughtered by Norman spearmen, but as troops got sucked into the centre I bought the right up again and more or less caught the Normans between two wings, got flank charges either side of the corner and ground through the Norman foot.
