Hmm, I'm not sure what's going on. I got an e-mail that Ben Park accepted a Normandy MP, and then another that he did his first turn. However, his pbem does not show up in the list. Perhaps he's using an older beta?

Yeah - probably picked up some of your older games. I'll try and clean out all the older ones when I get in in the morning.
It's a little ugly with trying to update with the OOS reporting. The next update will contain the auto-updater (unless something else goes wrong, of course...)
Cheers

I just saw the thread about the newer beta- I'll resend a turn once I download it.

Hmm, the U key is as badly exploitable as the M used to be. This should be the first thing disabled in the next beta.

It's in fact the same functionality - I've disabled it for now - not sure how we allow people to take movies etc but I'll work out a happy medium.

Not really a bug, just a small map glitch. At least one of the houses in the CLOSE COMBAT map has some polygon issues.

It still would be nice to know which way was NORTH to take maximum effect of straffing runs.

Trying to get a perfect victory on the last african campaign map is impossible. It thinks there are more victory points than actually exist in the scenario.

Maybe this is just a co-incidence, but if I get ambushed and the unit firing on me levels-up. The position of the star sort of gives away where the ambush is taking place. Maybe it was just luck where he was, or do we need to add in some random positioning for where the STAR shows up.

An old (disastrous) unloading bug is still present. I mentioned a while ago that if a loaded truck gets ambushed inside the Desert Fort (for example), in the online Desert Fort scenario, that the cargo is always immediately lost. It doesn't even attempt to unload, despite having numerous neighbhouring tiles it should unload into.
To test this out, simply run a loaded British truck inside the fort while an 8rad is waiting inside it. As soon as it fires, your cargo just disappears.

Another thing that annoys me often. Sometimes I"ll KNOW where a unit is on a hill, but because the tile is in FoW, and it's open terrain instead of cover, I am prohibited from fireing against that tile.

I came across one glitch today on-line. On of my infantry units got a really bad mortar roll and the entire unit was destroyed. But I wasn't able to move vehicles through that tile. I checked nearby units, and sure enough they had an option to bulldoze that tile. I did the bulldoze option, and sure enough those burned out pieces exploded all over.
I'll have to keep a closer eye on this...

That seems to be a very rare bug - really not sure how an inf unit could end up being bulldozed! If you see it again, then a save would be very much appreciated

While I can shoot around corners of bocage, and regular buildings, it seems I can not pass the corner of Hedgerows for 6 MPs. For some reason they always require an L shaped movement. I'm not sure if this is an over-sight, or done so by design. For similar reasons, I can not load/unload at hedgerow corners.

This is by design. There are odd situations that occur if we don't force this and gaps you can slip through that look impassable.

As far as I can tell it never worked

- well, not unless you were out in the open. But fixed now - thanks for the catch!

I was able to bring up the bulldoze option for an AT unit that had been destroyed in a building. A little odd, since the AT unit was hidden.

Not really a bug, but a comment on the desert encounter map. The axis don't have an AA gun. I suspect this is an over-sight due to the fact the allies had their bonus changed in the last version from artillery to fighter-bomber.

I'll check out the bulldoze bug, although not likely to be gamebreaking anyway I guess.

BTW, I noticed those TIPS that appear during game loading often go by so fast you can't read them. Perhaps a time-thread should be used so they remain for at least a few seconds.
