Rosedelio (Wallachians) defeats oscarius (Castilian) 55-29

The Wallachians brought a very cav heavy force. While the infantry line mostly collapsed, the cav managed to get around the Castilian right and cause chaos with flanks. Some last minute rallies of the Janissaries helped too.

Rosedelio (Wallachians) defeats Questar17 (Cypriot) 51-26

In the battle between Wallachian bows and Cypriot crossbows, thanks to the Janissaries, the bows won the shootout and melee. Much of the Cypriot infantry was nulled by the patch of rough in the center of the battlefield. Some good cohesion checks by the central bows also helped with creating the rout gap.

Rosedelio (Lithuanians) defeats ericdoman1 (Berber) 65-54

The Berbers brought a lot of light cavalry and infantry, absorbing many arrows for the infantry and cavalry. However, the dismounted Lithuanian cav proved themselves to be capable melee fighters as well. The Lithuanian light cav also helped with clearing away the horde of lights

With on ly one result a piece in Divs A & B I will refrain from posting an update. However Div C has made up for the slow start and is well progressed with Anderarcoss11 setting the target fro others to challenge. Yinsdd002 looks well place though with an unbeaten run of 6 games. The mid table players also have a long way to go yet so it is far from all over.

Div C players please note. Keksoid has withdrawn and i will ask phlewis if he would like to step in. I will keep you posted.

mh5064 FRENCH 888-1049 AD with VIKING defeats mberisso Rus 960-1053 AD allied Pecheneg 46-13.

The Rus attacked bravely on all fronts simultaneously trying to break the opposing line up but were well stopped by the French defenses which, after an initial phase of containment, went on to counterattack closing the battle with the defeat of the enemy.

Badger73 (Seleucid 166-125 BC with Jewish allies) defeated tigercub (Antigonids 320-301 BC with Greek allies) - 45:20

A straightforward push of pikes but once the Seleucids shoved the Antigonid cavalry away from the battleline, other Seleucid foot units were able to turn the flanks and disrupt Antigonid pikemen. A good fight by a newer player who looks to be a quick learner. Thanks for a fun match and a great game.
