A new map is now available; presumably another new one will be forthcoming after the Senate makes new appointments on Wednesday.

Let it be known to all man that an injustice has been done! Ericus Dominicus was betrayed, sacriliege and dishonour has been done and the scribes who counted the votes should be put to the lion's how could it be that the results were as they were nah I smell something fishy, to arms to arms lock down the City while we seek the perpurtrators (and no i cant spell!) of this Outrage let justice be done

Surely, in the interest of civic order, we should abide by the result that the Censor has announced, lest the Plebs rise up and challenge the natural order of things? I am sure that the Censor has the right of things and it is but scurrilous rumour-mongering in the Forum that we are hearing. As a Tribune of the People, I will always support them if an injustice has been done, but we see none here.

Glad you enjoy this RPG campaign.

In my opinion we desperately need more participants.

Please let everybody know he´s welcome to take part.

I´ve posted on the main forum already.

Cheers, Klaus

Klaus

If that is the case you had better ask some to try and help TJD

It may give Rome a chance then, judging by the results at the moment.

Also as you have mentioned this is taking up quite a bit of your time. Having more players will give you even less time.

Cheers

Eric

As they say in Capua , "the one that smelt it, dealt it"

I find it interesting the Republicans had 58 votes vs 63 for the Aristos whereas your rank earns you 5 votes ... We all now Lord Kilroy voted Aristo, and assuming all the declared Aristos voted for Bates thats 58 points ( 40 plus 18 Kilroy) A tie! The last time I checked an odd # and an even # always is an odd #.... Was it your 'swing' 5 votes that gave them 63 votes altogther? YOU were the only independant with 5 votes!

Now i know why you failed to lead your legions to support myself and The Turkish vs the Gauls, it was to discredit the Republicans and curry to you "masters", the Aristos.. Oh there will be payback, the honour of the dead of the IXth and Xth legions demands it!!

I stand with Greyous Mouser on this one we were sent to our deaths agaist the Gauls!!! Where were our reinforcments promised? We fought our way back with the Gauls on our heels the whole way with no support from these Aristos. A pox on them i say !! Men of steel are needed in Rome not these skulling toads who hide behind their paper work. To arms now before Rome is swamped by the Barbarian hordes.

Senator Keyth voted for the Aristos not Senator Kilroy, hence 62 votes, not sure where the other one came from.

Rex did not vote. Although would like to see who voted, for whom and those that did not vote.

Have had 3 training/pactice battles recently and won all 3 so there is still life in this old dog.

Also I found the Allobroges' message quite funny. Is that meant to be an insult.

Ah well. Still twiddling my thumbs here so what does Rome ask of me now?

Citizens of Rome,

the election was secret and won´t be disclosed.

Take into consideration, some didn´t vote within the deadline and some voted different to what

they´ve posted.....

However, the honorable Censor of Rome is not to be questioned.

More and more of the campaign we be given to the hands of the participants.

That will reduce the time I have to spend on it and would be much more enjoyable to all who take part.

Do you want to recruit Tim for the Roman side. I can understand you....

Cheers, Klaus

SPQR - VERY IMPORTANT

Citizens of Rome, Senators, members of the Magistrate !
The honorable Consuls of Rome, Batesmotelus and Triavalus announces the 1st meetings of the new Senate of Rome, commencing today, deadline tomorrow.

Both Consuls have to send 4 proposals each by PM, both Tribunes are elegible to send one proposal each.

The Agenda, consisting of all accepted proposals, will be published at the Forum Romanum on Friday.

Afterwards all fraction leaders will vote on each point of the Agenda, each Tribune will be eligible for one VETO.

Thanks Eric,

we´ll need some capable fighters for the Roman side and particulary additional followers for the Plutocratic and Popular Party.
Maybe 5-10 additional players would be fine.

Thanks, Klaus

What a kiljoy!. Didnt you once say "dont let the truth get in the way of a good story"?

Of course , as the Censor points out, all votes were secret so how do you KNOW who voted for what? I hope you dont just accept as fact based on someones word, not in Rome!

Hail TGM

Being a Kiljoy is really SOMETHING NEW for me. This SYSTEM of voting seems very SWISS, hint ruddy hint.

OK can I kill something now please.

Demetrios

When you asked for 5 to 10. What level of players would be of interest. For example some of the best players IMHO are pantherboy, hidde, ianiow, davouthojo, deeter, batesmotel, iversonjm, CheAhn, Triarius (as long as he has average dice), Morbio, mschund and Steve-h8 (I've forgotten a few). Some of them are playing now.

Hi Eric.

A mixture of top players and average players would be suitable, I assume.

On the side of the enemies of Rome, just TJD and me would take command.

Thanks, Klaus
