Bombardments dont gain any experience for kills.

Hmm, seems F5 still allows us to type a bug report, but it no longer gets submitted.

Also, wasn't there supposed to be a hotkey around now to bring up the current score-board screen?

F5 shouldn't bring up the dialog - I will check.

Hitting Enter brings up a running total of casualties.

Thanks I'll try that whenever my next opponent returns the PBEM.

BTW, the Central Plateau map is missing. Was that intentionally removed?

It has been renamed I think but the only maps that are intended for release are in the build - there are 7 of them.

Well that is interesting. Because I just checked now, and there are only 2 African scenarios at this time. Desert Fort & Desert Encounter.

Ok, I just received an OOS error.

It happened during the replayer, and I haven't done anything yet on my turn, so you should be able to grab it off the server now.

It's in the Bocage Village scenario, I am allies vs Pom.

Can you and your opponent send the log files fro when you ran the turns I question? If you still have them...

Sh*t. I've already continued another game with Pom since. However, my TURN is still parked on the server if you want to grab it. Let me know when you are done, so we can continue it. I got butchered up pretty bad early, but I think I can make a decent come-back!

The turn is o good. What we need is the log file from both players in the last turn they played. It's not always easy :(

I will see if I can grab the turn and work out what is going on. Will be tomorrow now though, so please don't play it.

Alternatively, grab it, and send the error log if it goes OOS.

Haha. NOW you say that... since I already decided to continue thinking it was no good :P

NO worries, if it's a common problem I'm sure I'll hit the OOS again soon.

If you get an OOS, then please send us the error log immediately (you can quit out without sending a turn by using ALT+F4). We promise not to accuse you of cheating ;)

Hmm, playing online against axis player. During the last replayer I got a notice stating victory, despite opponent still had a Tiger left. I assume they decided to surrender the game at that point.

However, I decided to type a comment, but got an error that--

BattleState:: Read past end of stored data: size 4 (0)

Hmm, I downloaded the same turn again, then tried to just tick the OK box without typing anything, and it still crashes.

Current game is Bocage Village (vs Pomakli) on the server. I'm Allies.

It looks like a bug crept in when finishing games. You won't be able to fix it - it's because the game ends up in the wrong tab and thus attempts to do the wrong thing.

I am going to try and get a new beta version out today or tomorrow which will have this fixed.

Thanks

BTW, I've played through all the current online maps now. That Central Plateau is not included. At least it doesn't show up under my install.

That is correct. We are not supporting scripted MP missions at first release, we ran out of time because of these ugly OOS problems :(.

I did a MP turn with Obsolete. How will I know when he has done his turn?

You'll get an e-mail when I'm done. I'll go and take a look at it now.

Later on, there should be a tool that will notify you... when Slitherine gets around to it.
