I'll come to britcon in 2011 . 2010 I am in southern France
Now one question about those player designed list . I think we can seriously work on it now so we can have some results or concensus for 2011
I think people such as Nick, Gahznavid, Hammy .... and of course Rbodleyscott should be the ones to decide if teh proposed changes are accepted or not , or if you prefere officialised . Sorry for all the other people I forgoit to mention
I could for exemple post here a proposal for the NIKES list ( I would not dare for other lists I do not really know ) and it might be discussed but , the creators of the rukes, the people who made the lists should be the ones to decide . They have all the infos needed .

As hinted before in order to get anything official you have to do more then convince Richard. You need to convince those that actually hold the copyright on the books, so Slitherine and Osprey. Good luck with that.

First : this section of the forum exists . so there is an interest somewhere . It is still a slitherine forum isn't it . Either they are serious and give us the opportunity to restudy someof the lists and make proposals .
Second : Rules and games are a living thing . They evolve . It can be done in a controlled maner or not . If a rule lives and evolves , it is positive if controlled and it will ensure the longevity of the rule ( more here the army list books, as I have no particular problem with the rules ).
Third : If the conceptors listen to the "clients" , controll what happens , it might also be positive for the rules . More benefit for Osprey on the long run .Osprey wants money, osprey needs new army list books to make money .

oups .... should I have said that

I didn't say it's impossible, I just think it's more difficult then you might assume. I certainly do not wish to be the one that has to convince them to make 'official' changes to already published list (before the rules/lists are redone and republished as a new edition).
