If you ever need images for Finnish forces the Finnish army published 160 000 photos from the ww2 era under Creative Commons CC BY 4.0. They include hundreds of images with German soldiers, officers and equipment as well as lot of captured (or destroyed) soviet stuff.

After searching for a bit, it seems finding high quality photos is easy. Determining their copyright status is hard.

Found on the web, I have no idea if they will be protected by copyright, but I would like such commanders in PzC 2

All I did was look up google images of famous Luftwaffe aces. It's obvious I don't own these images. Do I have to worry about a copyright law or something? If so don't use them. Also, I'm more of a Order of Battle fan. Can one of the technicians make more German and American pilots and leaders for that game? I would even pay that person to do it for me.
