Sorry, are we still going with 750 points, or is it back up to 800?

750 to speed it up, especially with higher break points per unit and limited time.

Go Tandoori -no point in Sushi as there will be loads of all shooty pirates which will make the armoured sushi points pointless!

Not completely useless, as at long range they only hit on 5-6, but I do get your point. Will see how Tandoori does this weekend at campaign.
The only other + is Sushi are generally Superior so pass more tests. Could leave the Hvy Armour at home and take another Ashigaru. As with new armor rules would only be 1/2 POA down against other heavily armored Japanese.

How many are you up to now, Will? There'll only be two from Wessex, I'm afraid (Patrick and me) as most of the others are on holiday.
Also, when do you need the army lists in by?

A few more details.
750 points, min 16 warriors, max 12 cavalry/camels/horse or 6 elephants, but unlimited light horse.
One day, three game event. £15 a head.
Any 'non-European' lists from 'Cities of Gold' or 'Colonies and Conquests', all time periods, 15mm.
Non-European powers include Pirates. Arr!
European allies are allowed.
Artillery is usual 1 gun per six bases.
Timings
Following the lead of Oxford, we will be played using the following starting times: -
1st Round 9.00am to 11.30am
15 minute break
2nd Round 11.45am to 2.15pm
15 minute break
3rd Round 2.30pm to 5.00pm
Lists to
madlemmey@hotmail.com asap
Terrain will be preset, and hopefully themed to as many entered lists as possible.
If two Buccaneers and/or Korean forces meet and both have ships, and if they both agree, they
may
opt to fight it out between ships, therefore a waterway/coast will be added to their next table.
Ships will move 12" and when firing against each other count as having two average artillery at long range, and two superior artillery at short range (to simulate close range broadsides). Ships may still enfilade fire against shore targets too.
Each ship counts as being a unit of ten bases average/impact foot/swords and Unarmoured.
Now they can fight boarding actions!
It's at The Mary Bassett School,
Bassett Road,
Leighton Buzzard
Bedfordshire
LU7 1AR
(It's about 15 minutes south of Milton Keynes, in the centre of town, but the entrance is up a tiny side street, which, as I realised last year, was not so straight forwards to find, see map).

Does that include you? Same number you ended up with last year (although you didn't play, if I recall).
