Ave Iain,
What format were the models modelled in, if I may be so bold as to ask? Why is it not possible to release the models?
Is some legal or copywrite thing?

It's more that the number of tools, utilities and special commands you need to make the models do anything sensible is stupid. We dropped the ball somewhat on it - as Iain says we are reworking our asset pipeline for future projects!

lol.
Tactica Romani:
Chapter I: To cuase maximum discomfort to your enemies painting your Equites Auxilia in the colours of the rainbow is the best possible method. There are many reports of multi-coloured soldiers from the first legion of Rome causing severe casualties on a variaty of nations - Aedui Gaul, Samnites, PAdone Gauls and Syracusan Greeks. It is poitnless to say that the best usage of the many coloured soldiers is to screen your army with them because untill the invention of Raybans nothign will be able to stand up to them.

What graphics programs support the .dds graphics format? Are there any affordable paint programs to do the job, or only the mega-denarii Adobe Photoshop with extra-cost add-ons?

)

I want amazoness, if you would like to.
I'm thinking modding shielded_javelinmen into dual use unit, which can fight melee-combat and missile_combat.
Tweaking status is relatively easy, hard part is how to change his face into woman's one, and possibley long hair, and breast.
Would you like to do that?

Righto, I can do the womans face fairly easily, but adding breasts would require modelling, Im sorry mate
I can make the Archer an Amazon style unit if you like though
