I assume that's OK as in it's correct rather than it standing a chance of winning!!!!

Yes, that's OK as in compliant with the list restrictions and the tournament conditions. As our resident expert in things Henrician you're probably better placed to offer an opinion on it's potential!

11/14 BG started, 4/14 and one general finished and based. 5.5/14 and 3 more generals painted but need varnish (too cold and wet to spray this weekend), basing and flags, 2/14 have half their bases finished and either were started and not finished due to running out of figures or bases for the unit. Now waiting for my local postie to deliver the next jiffy bag of joy to finish these and start the other 3/14.
Looks like they will be done in time. I Might avoid 'doing-a-Nigel' yet! Just be good to get a practise game without interference from parents evenings or OFSTED!

There is still one place up for grabs in the 25mm competition. If anyone would like to enter please let me know and if you don't have a 25mm army I can easily supply a loaner - anything TYW/ECW or Anglo-Dutch league of Augsberg.
If anyone would rather enter the 15mm competition and fight for the 2nd place behind Alasdair (

), then let me know and I will swap into the 25mm competition to keep the numbers even. Please let me know in the next 7 days or I'll withdraw from the comp to offer the spaces to other competitions who have players on the wait list. However I would prefer to play as this would be my first game since Derby last October!!!

Due to a change in plan by one of the Reigate players we have a spare room in the Hilton in Milton Keynes on the Saturday night (2/4/16).
It is a KING HILTON GUEST ROOM including WiFi and Breakfast and we may get upgraded at check-in. The price is £51.75.
If anybody is interested please let me know.
See you all soon
Stephen

This is the final polite reminder that the deadline for lists is this weekend. So far I have received lists from:
Iñaki Iraizoz
Will Denham
Alasdair Harley
Marc Roberts
Keith Spedding
If you are playing 15mm Fog R at Roll Call then please send me your list this weekend.
If you are playing 25mm Fog R then you need to send your lists to Alasdair.

Nah - my monies on the Later Imp Spanish - watch out for the 8 pack of commanded out elite muskets - Lethal! Also the Japs are scary with their heavy armour not that i'll do any good against muskets but the animal skin lovers won't like that armour!! Ikko Ikki won't care cos they've got Heavy Weapons - they're biggest worry is superior, pis, pis cavalry of which there won't be much!

Tried Early Swedes (tasty) against Pete's Aztecs as a warm up game last night.
1) The Swedes are a cheese fest! Can see why it doesn't get many 'themed' outings! Ray is going to have fun! That ++ early salvo- yuck! Elite cavalry is particularly anti-social. The army only had 8 units but they ripped holes in Pete's poor elites...
2) It was a very open battlefield, if Pete had cover, he would be unbeatable.
3) If there is a prize for best painted, Pete would be a shoe-in!
4) If Pete meets Nigel, it's down to dice!!!
