imo hero's win or make rogue easier and also can be a advantage in online if used right against normal units
I found out the hard way.

Why is it some players shoot when no possible hit?

Thanks for the win (you let me win that one).
Is the first turn random? I really thought I went first, that is why I moved my units like that. Is there any way of dropping the objective (gold/files)?

I

taking a shot when the odd's say no chance of a hit is pointless, but some just don't understand the rules of the game and do it anyway

this is why most users play with friends, then if you both wish to learn you can, you don't have to shoot all the time, in some matches when testing we had a no shoot rule, so only some grenades or other things could be used, was fun all the same, and if you wish to try out something like tank overruns, it's better on your own or in skirmish to practice.

hope you enjoyed the game, do as much of it as you can before you play to often online and you will enjoy it more understanding more of the rules etc

ps. well that's me done for the day, been testing since i got up at 6am, so won't be on much longer...

see you around and good luck and may the dice rolls always be in your favour

Pleasure playing with you.

Is the first turn random (who moves first)
Does a player lose points when he loses a match (multiplayer)

It looks as if I am forced to play against the AI, if I want to gain a hero or two ;-(

not 100% sure of the first one tbh a developer or mod will have to answer that or better still post in in your suggestion post?

second one, no you loose nothing for losing

and 3rd it's is atm the only way, that's not to say you will always have it that way, and some hero's are already free, just some others are locked and need unlocking first

maybe suggest to spend points to get them unlocked? as that's a new idea

but it would mean you still need to win some matches and get the points in the first place maybe, so not a great new idea after all

Maybe I can borrow one of yours?

Or better yet, they should enable bidding wars, putting your hero up against your opponents...Moo, ha, ha, ha
Hero WARS!

Hi Waltero, Zach. This is a very interesting thread.

Some quick answers:
- The first turn's initiative is not random, it's defined by the scenario
- As Zach said, you don't lose points when you lose a multiplayer match
- And yes, we will show the "current turn number" in the Orders screen. Please wait for the next patch
