Hrothgar hasn't reported the results from the game that we completed a few days ago, so I will:

That was a fun, close battle. I had a chance to pull off a draw on that last turn as a couple of his units were fragmented and in close combat, but I just couldn't break them.

My Reiters won the day for me. They successfully shot up and broke a Swiss Keil with the help of a unit of Med shot and 2 light foot shot adding their weight of lead. Thanks for a great game Ian, lets see how your Reiters do in the return game.

The French lancers were able to charge into and rout most of the Huguenot reiters and Med foot shot units. Swiss saw off a heretic pike and shot unit. Hugenot lancers kept up their reputation by defeating and routing the French lancers. Fortunately for me Ian did not have a lot of Lancers on the heretic side. Good game thank you Ian.
