Derby Wargames Club
We meet every Monday (and soon maybe Thursdays as well) at the British Legion in Allenton. Directions & contact details available from the website (www.derbywargamessociety.co.uk). There are a reasonable number of FOGers - maybe a dozen or so regulars but the club is pretty wide ranging and people play most things. We compete in various FOG events, and although some of the club members aspire to greatness the majority of us can usually be found competing for bottom place. In this we are surprisingly successful.

GOOD DAY ALL :D

:D :D Thursday Night Gaming :D :D

On Thursday 17th September 2009 (and every Thursday thereafter), we will be opening up our HQ for an evening of miniature wargaming from 6pm – 10:30pm.

Tables are available free of charge & on a first come, first served basis, you just need to bring your own armies & terrain .

There is sufficient room to set up the following…
• 1 x 9’ x 5’ (Table tennis table)

NEW 20 x 6’ x 4’ now

The cost will be £4 per person & this includes tea & coffee; cans, crisps, etc will also be on sale.

See here for a map.

Young people under 16 are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult who must be responsible for them at all times.

If a larger group of players would like to book use of the building on a separate evening (or day), perhaps for a larger game, then this may also be possible.

Finally, every second & fourth Sunday of each month, the Mailed Fist Wargames Club meets at our building, if Sunday gaming is your thing, then why not come along then, too?

Hi

Staines Wargamers meet at the community centre Englefield Green every Friday from 7 - 11 PM.

We usually play Fog, POW or Tac in a friendly group of up to 10 and we would be delighted to see visitors who are looking for a game.

Hope to see you some time.

We are a small, friendly, society covering a range of periods; Ancients through Medieval, Napoleonic, ACW, 20th Century; on land, at sea, or in the air. From time to time we venture into deep space or to worlds of fantasy. Have a look through club diary for some of the FOG games hosted this year.
We meet from 10.00 to 17.00, on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month, at a new venue, Linton Village Hall, Linton Hill (A229), Maidstone. For further information please phone club secretary Brian Simons on (0780) 3009504, or you can contact him via e-mail.

If you're in Minneapolis/St. Paul, USA, and you'd like to give FoG a spin, shoot me an email at m_luhmann@yahoo.com. Our club plays FoG in 15mm but we also dabble in other historical rulesets. We meet monthly at The Source Comics and Games. We also run FoG events at local conventions as well as "in between" meetups, so there are many opportunities to get a game in. Don't have an army? We'll provide one. Don't have an opponent? We'll provide that too. Don't have a car? Well, there is a limit to our generosity and good will! Seriously though, we've got a great bunch. Come on down and check us out.

Central London Wargames Club

Has moved pubs since the last couple of notices were posted. For the last few years we have been at:

Escape
2 Lidlington Place, NW1 2JU

This is a turning off Eversholt Street, 2 mins walk from Mornington Crescent on the Northern Line or about 10 mins from Euston mainline station.

We meet on Monday and Thurs evenings from around 7 to 11.

There is no subscription or table fee. The only club rule is that everyone must buy at least two drinks an evening to keep the pub happy. It is a pleasant, unfussy, place and on Thurs they serve a first class curry.

Everyone is welcome, but particularly Fog players, as we've been dwindling a bit recently.

New website address for Reigate clu is http://www.reigatewargame.co.uk

We meet at 8pm on a Thursday and tend to organise ourselves earlier in the week so that we can make sure everyone gets a game. Best thing to do is either contact myself by PM or Paul Robinson (via website contact section)
