From my experience over numerous Slitherine products I've found them to be very customer focused. At this point I've purchased FoG, plus all expansions, PanzerCorps, plus nearly all expansions, Commander Europe, Commander Napoleon, Napoleon's Campaigns, Battle Academy, and now Pike & Shot. I've played hundreds of games vs humans and probably closing in on a thousand vs AI.

I wish all companies were as good as Slitherine are in supporting their customers. In general their products are relatively bug-free. I've had a couple of issues -- all of which were promptly death with. I also am sympathetic with the challenges of managing software development and release schedules. The past 23 years, I made my living in software development and consulting. I know how hard it is to ensure 100% bug-free software products.

At the end of the day, however, these are games. Not sure where you are in life, but these are not life and death products. As much as I enjoy gaming -- it is gaming -- it is not real life.

I do still hate losing... :D :D :D

Sory but I'm in software industry too. when we made a big mistake we do no wait to solve the problem, we do not said that we will fix when it will be scheduled.....

As you said it's game but I do not play to be frustrated by a fuking bug. I have really no pleasure to see more than 10 units routed by 2 in one turn and it's not a question of winning or loosing

by the way the bug is not happened only when pursuers change target. In my game the pike unit just follow 6 hex the light cavalry

The bug makes it do that if it changes target while pursuing routers or evaders, and the second target evades. Was the unit it followed and contacted the one it originally charged or a different one?

That's seems strange -- most of the people I've worked with in the software industry are mostly pretty nice and reasonable...

after some more turn in different game I must apologize. Look like the bug is less important than I have thought initially.

Good to hear, but we will be patching it as soon as possible - but only after we have thoroughly tested the new version.

The new patch will also make the direction of routs and evades somewhat more predictable, and stop pike keils from ignoring enemy immediately in front of them.
