Hehe

Yeah, I actually wanted to have it done by now, but simply didn't find the time to complete it yet. Might still take awhile. It's not abandoned though.

It is never wise to rush a master craftsman. Take your time Master Bebro...............

Good to know. Incidentally, do you think that OoBP has made the PzC platform less interesting for modding? Personally I still see its place but I`m interested in how the people who actually make the graphics think.

You`re working under the assumption that a master craftsman is someone slow at his job. Which is odd.

 I`m just kidding btw.

PzC has still a lot of appeal for modders IMO, esp. since some things are easier to do. I always hoped though that at some point modders who change/add a lot of custom files, incl. gfx would not need to fiddle around with GME anymore (or use other uncomfortable ways like extra installations).
I hope OOB's moddability will improve, but modding stuff for a real time 3d engine is simply more sophisticated than doing PzC style sideviews, there's no way around it.

				Hi Bebro,
a nice counterpart to your project is Nicos intro campaign "Italy Corps". With playing that stuff, I want to update some scenarios within that campaign for the Italian forces and make some additional unit icons. Especially the GB units need a little camo update, because the original vanilla layout isn't ... original for the African duty. Your camo versions are also very nice! With information from various sources the camo look could also be like this:

A problem with that: The new camo skins don't fit for every vehicle like Matilda, Vickers, 6pd portee and so on. Do you make also separate skins with sand/blue/gray for every unit?
Another idea for expanding your nice project: Set in some of the missions between OP Compass and after...like the Battle of Bardia, Retreat to Tobruk and Derna. The maps are near finished and could delivered by me.
Greetings!

				Nice job

Though I think I'll stay with the more toned down pattern I already have and posted as screenshort earlier.
That being said I haven't made much progress with this mode recently, so it's still on hiatus unfortunately.

What is there still to do? Roughly speaking.

There are maybe 1-2 scns still to do, but others need still polishing, for example briefings.
Also even if I had the time to complete it all now, I'd rather wait to see what the next PzC release/patch brings (assuming there will be changes with Sea Lion) to avoid to have to rework stuff later.

Don't expect any spectacular changes. Only script bugs were addressed.
The Soviet Corps patch might be more interesting.

So that means the units are all done (both graphics and stats)? Honestly I was expecting to see a long list. You seem to be pretty much done though. Sure, take you time and thanks for the update!
Btw, I don`t know if you had the time yet, but I`ve tried rezaf`s new Animations feature in his DCS. Saves ALOT of time and effort when adding animations for new units. Wish it was available a few years back.

I`m really hoping it will increase the number of movement types and maybe add an amphibious movement.

I see. Thx for the hint

Looking fwd to both Sea Lion and Sov Korps.
Maybe things become more quiet towards the end of the year so I can finally get this mod out.

Yes, tried the anim part in DCS, but didn't do not much so far with it. I was happy to have folder for unit icons built in now.
As for units - I think nearly all for Brit mod are done, with few exceptions maybe I have to check again. Maybe I release some of those earlier as goodies for the mod folks here

				Hello Bebro,
long time ago...
Is there a chance, to see this interesting project comes to life?
Besides the beautiful Soviet, Italian, Hungarian and other mods it would be nice to play some battles in the desert areas of Africa.
