Doesn't look like it unless we get a late entry.

Is Ben going to be World Champion after 4 games as opposed to 5 games last year?

No
Here are the scores after 4 rounds
Ben Jones 66
Stephen Stead 51
Ian Poade 44
Dave Allen 43
Simon LeRay-Mayer 39
Juan Gonzalez 32
Javier Moncholi Checa 23

And the final scores are
Ben 93.6
Stephen Stead 72
Ian Poade 69
Simon LeRay-Mayer 64.8
Dave Allen 52.8
Juan Gonzalez 46.8
Javier Moncholi Checa 37.2
The decimal points are due to the adjusted Bye scores, the Bye score for a player was the average of the other 5 scores, as everyone had a bye except Ian.
The full results will go up when I get home after spending a few days here in lovely Portugal.

Well done Ben, Stephen and Ian.
At least England won this competition having been trashed by Australia in the ODM today.

I would like to thank you all for the fantastic time I had in Lisbon playing with you. I had wanted to attend a big FOGR tournament in the UK for some time and this event has been almost the same. Not only did I get to know and play against real gentlemen, always ready to give or receive a joke and to accept the crazy outcomes of some dice, but I also saw with great interest the quite different philosophy and tactical doctrine that you apply, and how efficient it is compared to ours
Hope to play with you again. Best regards,
Javier.
PD: Be careful, I can only get better
