Cavehobbit -

Near Smolensk is by far the best MP scenario I have played (repeatedly with BHacker). There is a bit of an exploit in that the Soviets can blow the bridge with mortar fire and since the bridge is an objective, reduces the Germans to only going for the ford where the Soviets can load up their reinforcements. It's an excellent strategy by the Soviets, but probably only fair in the scheme of things if the German engineers can repair that bridge the same way they can blow holes in the walls (assuming an engineer gets through to do the repair). Allowing that would add another really dynamic element to whats already a great scenario.

Alternatively, you might want to make the bridge indestructible and slide the location back one hex so that the Jerries actually have to secure both sides of the bridge, or allow the bridge to blow and the engineers to fix it, but still move the location back one hex. if you do allow the bridge to blow and slide the location, maybe you want to give the Germans an extra engineer squad or have them arrive with an extra truck or halftrack. Absent blowing the bridge, its pretty tough right now for the Soviets to hold the bridge because the victory location in the town is so close to the bridge and the Germans can pile in pretty easily once the town is taken.

Again,a well designed scenario with lots of flux enjoyable from either side.

Hi Nutmegkillshot,
Glad you like the scenario! And thank you for your feedback. I'll probably reinforce the bridge to make it indestructible.
Check your PM inbox for a little bonus...

Blood and honour will probably keep me busy for some time. But right now I'm busy at work, so progress is slow :(

Where does one find Blood and Honour? Of your scenarios I can only see Smolensk and Sovkhoz... disclaimer, there is a real good chance I'm just blind.

You are not blind 8) I've just chosen not to have a public beta. Maybe I will, but I will not have much time to discuss ideas and changes at the moment.

I've added Ingouf Farm to the download list. It's originally a BA1 scenario I adapted for BA2, not sure everything works as intended though...

I've added Blood and Honour, a map pack containing four scenarios to the download list. Unfortunately they are still in beta as I've not had time to work on them for a while and won't have time the coming months. But they are still playable, though some of them need to be better balanced. I'm grateful for any feedback.

These are very good scenarios. I still like Smolensk a great deal, in spite of having played it 20 times. Night Attack is also excellent. I've only played it four times, but the Germans have won every time. Perhaps giving the Germans 2 fewer tanks as reinforcements would even it out.

I find it easier to win as allies in night attack to be fair

Bhacker, good to hear you like the scenarios. But I think I agree with glenghiscan, the Allies are a bit stronger. Sadly I don't have time to update the scenarios, but I wish I had...

I've added some BA1 scenarios I've ported to BA2. You'll find the map pack (Fighting North of Antwerp) in the first post: http://www.slitherine.com/forum/viewtop ... 66#p493966
Thanks to all who helped me test the scenarios.
