Lancers!
You should recall I've used those before Phil - and to good effect.

Nope - I have tried the Jin but struggled to get a balanced army out of it at 800 AP.

If Pete borrowed the figures would that be Yuan and whose army
Also I cannot see any Koreans on the allowed armies

Hi all,
Unfortunately, Phil (Powell) has had to drop out from Warfare, which means that we are a man down in the Alexander to Augustus theme.
The upside to that is that if there is anyone out there who has been kicking themselves because they didn't get their entry in time (and who can still negotiate a weekend away...) there is a seat available. Please can you contact me urgently if so!!!
Ditto of course if you have a friend/relative/enemy/significant other* (delete as appropriate) who you wish to inveigle along.

Eric Doman, "Central London"
Really?
Is trying to avoid playing Dave Saunders in rounds 1 & 2 really that important to his chances of success that Eric now needs to pretend to be a Central Londoner..?

Mea culpa. It's amazing just how many people's clubs I can carry in my brain, but even I am entitled to a slip-up once in a while...

I'm prepared to accept that the dragons period looks tougher on paper than the Alex period.
Can't believe I'm the only bosporan!

Quite glad of that myself; I had visions of spending the entire weekend plodding across a sea of grass worrying about my flanks.
