Scenario Thoughts

Per an earlier request, played some of the scenarios. Taranto was an easy gimme. Raids like Taranto (or Pearl Harbor) only work if the element of surprise is present. If the battleships are not surprised, the carriers are meat on the table. The Taranto scenario was like that. As the Italians, I took a couple of hits and then with the battleships proceeded to sink all the Brit carriers. Without the carriers, the planes ran out of gas and fell into the sea. Game over by turn 5. Maybe the way to balance the game is to prevent the battleships from moving for a couple of turns or make them less powrful initially ( to simulate the crews being on low alert) - something anyway.
The V2 scenario was interesting. One thing, I could use the V2s as weapons, but didn't see how to use the V1s.
The D-Day scenario was interesting in that as the Allies I lost. I will have to check the history of the battle. It seemed like the Germans had more armor available than they really did. History records there was a lot of SS armor that was kept out of the battle for a few days. Anyway, the scenario was fun anyhow.
I haven't seen any real glitches except that I can't always play the allies (such as Taranto). I am not sure if that is something with the game or I just haven't figured out how to do it.

On a related note to tmgiles1's recent post.
It would be nice to still have a unit history available, even after the unit has been destroyed.

Possible ghost minefield bug:
Scenario
Second Alamein, turn 6, hex Desert(13,16)
On Picture A, I select the Churchill tank, I move it two hexs over the empty green hex,

Now on picture B once my move is completed, a minefield appear in the green hex that was previously empty, I wasn't attacked by this minefield at all.
If I select the Armored Car to move to the same destination, I am correctly ambushed by the minefield.

Tried installing the new beta 1.2 beta 4 it installed but seemed to have a problem with the air cannon file. Said air cannon decomposition, so I hit ignore and installed the rest, was this a problem for anyone else?

Do you have a savegame from this situation?

A few issues I have:
LYSANDER-unless fog of war is enabled, this unit is useless as it has no air or ground attack(even 1 for each would be an improvement).
CARRIERS-no attack whatsoever, despite the fact that during the war they frequently launched fighters, bombers and torpedo planes.
NAVY-ships can't be built, so if you lose one that's it.
