Here is a new icon for the Soviets. The super tank IS7. I recently did an IS4 icon which is basically a very similar tank to the IS5 I am told. I am working on the stats for both of these heavy Soviet tanks to put in the game. But with these two heavy weights and the IS3, there should be some level of counter measure to the planned release of the German "Paper Panzers" which is forthcoming from me. I am hoping deducter will assist in making the data and stats for these tanks and have requested his assistance if he has the time.

Here are two more Soviet armor icons. I did NOT make these icons, but I found them in my icon files and they could be used in "what if" and 1946 and later year scenarios if you continue the war.

Here are a Soviet T54 and a T55 icon I made today that seems a bit more like the T44 I recently made in appearance for game play. The T54 and T55 were very similar with only small design differences between them. They carried the lethal 100mm DT10 rifled gun and had the same hull and running gear as the T44, but substantially improved armor. Thesemodel will be suitable for 1945 and later scenarios for those playing "what if". A very lethal and well protected medium tank. A good counter measure tank against the upcoming Paper Panzers.
Perhaps guille1434 can make a better unit of these two icons that will match his great T44 and they might get into the game someday to fight in later war or extended war scenarios or mods.

Very well done icons, Flak. Will try to give them a more uniform look to match the T-44 and the standard game icons... Thanks!!

flakfernrohr wrote:Here is the Rheinmetall PaK44 12.8cm AT gun deployed and the Krupp Pak44 12.8cm AT gun deployed. You will notice the difference in that the Rheinmetall gun carriage folds under the gun while the Krupp deploys stabilizing feet to the sides. These are the only two PaK44 AT guns I found in my search and so I made icons of both. No doubt they were scarce to be seen but surely terrible to encounter as a foe. Much easier to deploy, move and produce than the standard Flak versions.
I've been looking for an icon for the 128PaK for a few days. Very nice. Thanks lots

Here are some stats and efx for the little RSO Pak75:
2030 RSO_Pak75mm 5 250 18 94 4 1 2 5 -1 14 -1 -1 1 6 0 RSO_Pak75mm.png 01.01.1943 01.01.1946 0 0 1 75mm PAK40 auf Raupenschlepper Ost
RSO_Pak75mm.png (64,-21) (-64,-21) (,) (,) ATlight1 ATlight2 ATlight3 tracked_medium1 tracked_medium2 tracked_medium3
It is just a naked chassis of an RSO with a PaK40 75mm gun on it. So it has very little defense, the same mobility, fuel, etc. Same stats for PaK40 for range, sighting, ammo, etc.
I can't imagine sitting on one of those things when something like a T34-85, SU100, ISU152, IS2 or the equivalent decided to sight me in! Talk about "naked in the wind".

Actually, the RSO unit had a very short range. For the truck and AT unit they should be 52 hexes. I also gave the RSO a 1 point increase in initiative as it is easier to switch directions.
It wasn't available until August of 43, not January.

Hi Razz, Yes I always "tweak" some of the stats in my units from the stock stuff and forgot to change it when I posted it back on the forum. I usually play PZC sort of "fast and loose" sometimes just for fun. Do I use the "cheat codes"? Hell yes.

I had saved the excellent JagdPanther units that Asuser made and posted on the forum on his old thread titled "Pimp Your Icon" in a format giving several variations of early, late and command versions. It appears no one ever made unit icons and masks out of them for the forum. There are 20 different Jagdpanther units with masks I have downloaded at mediafire in the link below. There are several sets with wheel masks you can vary the coloring on when you adjust the tertiary color adjustments for armament and tracks in the DCS spray shop tool.
Of course if you do not like the multi camouflaged wheel set versions, there is the plain or solid color version mask for each unit I made with multi camouflage wheels.
So I have spent some time making variations of them, touching up some of the pixels to maximize camouflage details, and basically added some stuff to a couple of versions so that the schurtzen could be altered. Of course they all look alike in many ways, but each one is different in some small ways.
Also I found three excellent Elephant and Ferdinand versions so I made unit icons and masks out of them. There are three of the units with masks and they are included in the file.
LINK FOR MEDIAFIRE JAGDPANTHER UNITS AND MASKS WITH TWO ELEPHANTS AND A FERDINAND:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/9ki57 ... Masks.zipx
I have skinned several versions with the wheels colored in variations so that you can see how the masks work with the tertiary adjustments in DCS.
