Ulysis Grunt (Comnenan Byzantine) 36/34
batesmotel (Comnenan Byzantine) 26/39
My Latinikonand lancers got the better of Danny's before his attempt to turn my left flank could deliver.
Thanks for the game.

Thanks Danny. She's a music teacher with lots of performances and stuff the last few weeks. VERY glad all that's over. On to more important stuff like this!

fogman (turks) 28/36 vs batesmotel (kommenans) 42/39
a fight in the open where the turks relied on superior mobility to overcome the latinikons and heavy armoured varangians.

fogman (turks) 12/36 vs kmaher (syrians) 47/37
the turks managed to overlap the syrian right wing and overwhelm it quickly, then turned against the left wing with similar results.

The battle opened well for the Byzantines as they looted the Turkish camp in the center......
Then disaster struck! Out of nowhere vast hoards of Turks crushed both wings of the Byzantines.....
The Turks must have had at least 200,000 men to our 15,000.
Byzantines 39/34
Turks 18/36

I believe the hordes came from the centre!

iandavidsmith: (Fatimid Eygptian ) 36/38 win

batesmotel (Comnenan Byzantine) - 39/39 loss
The Egyptian spear parked themselves on a ridge while their lancers and Mamluks
took on one flank. The lancers where able to rout the Knights somehow and the spear where able to
survive the attacks long enough to gain victory. Very close in the end and my first victory ever against BM.
Great game ,
Ian

All my opponents -- a quick status.
I had a really bad work and travel week and had to slow play all my games.
For the Lords tourney: I've completed two games, have one in mid-game and two started. I still have two games to start. I'll try to pick things up a bit tomorrow.
Best regards,

you do what you can. no rush. the priority would be to pick up your challenges first, then make your two remaining challenges.

fogman (turks) 24/36 vs iandavidsmith (fatimids) 39/38
the turks delayed the potent fatimid right wing long enough for their own right wing to deal the fatimids the decisive blow.

flatsix518 (fatimids) 31/36 vs batesmotel (k-byz) 44/39
The fatimids gained a central position in bad terrain and then dealt with the threats to each flank as they emerged. At mid-game the outcome was close and very much in doubt. Tough, tough fight all the way.
