Glad to hear it's working for you. Sometimes when Windows age to much only a fresh installation helps. It got a lot better from the times of Windows 95 where you had to reinstall like every half a year latest but still sometimes you got to do it.

Yes Tarrak, thankfully HP made it easy, with a recovery disc in a partition on my hard drive. The only hard part was deciding what I wanted to reinstall and what I wanted to get rid of. My friend who assisted also helped by running a program called "Windows decrapifier". Terrible name, but it looked at the fresh install and suggested stuff that HP added into the install that we could remove. Worth checking out if you have never seen it.

Indeed. HP like most all other computer manufacturers, like to fill your Windows with useless junk, that only helps in creating more software conflicts and consume more resources.

same Antimalware Service Executable problem
