Very challenging battlefield for the Armenians. Arabs dug in a hill and had enough shooters to force the Armenians to come to them. The mad mullah gave no quarter and the Armenians were sent scrambling off the hill.

A tough matchup for the Lombards. The mad mullah secured his flank on some impassable terrain and the weight of Arab spears combined with a few well-timed intrusions by lancers sealed the deal.

DARK AGES ANNOUNCEMENT NON PERIOD ARMY USED

Unfortunatly a player has used an army which was not from the Dark ageds list. The player hadnt realised they were using an out of period army and i must confess i hadnt noticed either. Those games are to be restarted and scores to be nullified. Players involved in these matches have been PMd and are happy with the restart.

Turk1964 Ghaznivad (36/33) Loss

The Ghaznavid Army lay waiting behind a stream with hills and some broken ground
encouraging the Lombard to cross.The superior General though decided to wait until the
Ghaznavid could no longer take his armies taunts about their social stature any more
and picked them off one by one as they crossed the stream. Several virginal sacrifices to the
dice gods before the battle paid off spades as well

Londo Bedouin Hamnidad of Aleppo (47/45) Loss

The map was a valley between 2 hills , the Lombard army was
deployed on one flank while the Hamnidad in the centre.See a
chanch to sweep down through the valley and up the Hamnidad's
hill on thier flank began a race to the top.After a few turns it became quite apparent
that Hamnidad's where going to get there first and the Lombards halted on
flat ground and taunted the Hamnidad's to come an meet them. The mass
of bowman took there toll on the Hamnidad's and the MF was nice prey
for the Lombard Lancers on the flat ground.

Okie, Italian Ostrogoths 33/32 to uheng1997, Ghaznavids 25/32

Ostragoths spread themselves across the entire battlefield while the Ghaznavids concentrated in the center and left. Ghaznavids shifted their center to the left to concentrate on the Ostragoth's flank. The Ostragoth flank was overwhelmed before their other forces could come to assist.
