I happen to disagree with aspect of the Allies DoW on either Belgium, the Netherlands, Norway, and Denmark. The Allies were not the aggressor like the Axis countries.

They were all part of the League of Nations and so they would not attack another. They may allow access, but not aggression or out right attack.

The Dyle plan was proposed by the French for 1940 and not in 1939 it was not even considered. It was also a response to the German attack of the lowlands similar to World War I.

Not to invade and do a preemptive setup. The times were different then and this does not simulate history.

Also the Germans did not have the capacity or capability to launch a two front war in 39' or in 40' . This is all fantasy...

Pk867 - unfortunatly you are incorrect in your assertion of the supposed happy family surrounding the League of Nations - Norway for example was hotly debated as an invasion option. As the victors have always write the history books - one mans invasion is another's liberation or freedom of access. Look to the eastern front "liberation of Poland, the invitation by the new Romanian government" which was a de facto military usurpation. Or even the western forces occupation of Iceland (without permission - claimed in German press as an occupation).
France had the capability - the French army was not a terrible force we think of but rather a very badly led force. Part of these games in my mind is to stretch the realms of possibility. I agree they may never ever have happened for a variety of reasons such as political, supply, military expediency but its still fun to play potential options.
In reality the invasion of Britain was never a serious option within Germany and the ease of the game mechanics to do so still don't prevent the fun. To me this illustrates the point of wildly urn historical events with a very minute chance of happening being able to be recreated within the game.
