Custom multiplayer maps so far that don't work are:

Villers Bretonneux

Cambrian 1917 campaign:

scramble for the canal crossings
Hells ladies dance in Fontaine
Haven't tested the other maps included in the campaign yet

Maps by insidious :

A winter encounter
River of blood

Where can i buy the expansion addons for BA in IPad?. Cant see on AppStore. Only see the base game on AppStore.

If you try to play one of them, an option to purchase pops up in the game.

Is this reason why some custom maps do not play on ipad??????

Can i also clarify that i have only purchased the battle academy for ipad- not addons as i'm unable to find them in app store

Also, campaigns available and listed for me in ba ipad version are:

western desert campaign
battle for normandy
battle of the bulge
blitzreig france
market garden
operation sealion
normandy skirmish
allied special asignments
axis special operations

i am able to play all single player scenarios from list

looks like from my list the addons are part of the ba game i purchased for the ipad..is this correct?

i have also signed in ba ipad version using my existing pc login credentials


my pc ba version has all addons and all custom maps (that i can find )

Any chance of an Android version? I suspect that Google isn't as dictatorial in their policies for Android apps as Apple is for theirs.

This is what the iPad BA blurb says "The game engine is also completely script-driven, allowing players to create their own missions and scenario in a simple and effective way" but I can't see any way to mod in the game. What am I missing?

You can't do script mods on the iPad I am afraid. If those details are still in the iPad version then I can only apologise. They should not be there. The amount of new UI would would have had to build to make the editor work on the iPad, and to then allow editing and creation of scripts in the right places would have been enormous. Because almost everything is user-definable, the number of customisable files is massive.

I will try and get the description on the iTunes page fixed as soon as is possible.

If you try and play France, Market Garden, or Sealion without having purchased the DLC then they should ask you to go through the in-app purchase process. You can indeed sign in using your existing credentials, and play your online games.

Thanks for the details. I will look into it immedately. Custom scenarios were a last minute addition, and it is possible something broke in the final days before submission and got missed. If so we will work to get a fix out as soon as is possible.

I have only paid for the BA ipad app- no dlc's and am able to play all campaigns listed- is this normal?!!

Are you sure you can play them? I have e iPad version too and they show in the list but when I go to play them I am prompted to purchase and download the content.

yep, clicked on (all)single player scenarios, and able to play them, and nope, i haven't purchased any BA DLC's for the ipad..something very strange going on !!!

Do you have a jailbroken iPad?

lol...no...plain vanilla new ipad wifi +64gb from apple- i was lucky to receive it on friday 16th of March

Are you sure you can actually play the missions, rather than just browse through the campaigns and look at the briefings. That is by design .

playing single player scenario right now- market garden

I am also able to play the custom maps in multiplayer- my profile name is BloodGuard- currently playing a map from the market garden campaign on my ipad!

Different BA ipad version on release?

Do you have a beta version? The beta version has the campaigns unlocked for testing.

i wouldnt know- i payed £13.99 and downloaded it straigfht from the apple store!!!

No then - they only ever had the full version so you don't have a beta. I don't know what to suggest really - check if you have been billed by Apple for 3 expansions as there should not be any way to play them without buying them as in app purchases! It certainly works that way for everyone else. Could anyone else have purchased them without you knowing?
