Stockwellpete please note we made a short notice family decision last Friday night for me to resign my job and relocate to the deep south in NZ I will be off air from 26 Jan thru to 2/3 Feb apologies for any slight delay this may cause although seeing your comment for the start fo the next rd I dont think this wil cause any dramas

The situation with the dreaded match 8 (
) is that RussProv has all of today to begin the game but if I wake up on Sunday morning and still see Leonidas is waiting to start his game then I will play the match instead. I have already picked a Papal States Condotta army just in case it is needed. Sorry about the delay, Leonidas.

Sorry for the not appearing, but I didn't get any PMs to my Inbox, or at my email, so I didn't realize the games had started until now. I'll respond to Leonidas's challenge now. If I'm already out of the tournament, it'll serve as a practice session for Leonidas in preparation for his real match.
If I'm still in, it'll serve as the real game.

Oh gawd! I am losing the will to live with this match now! You did have a PM, Tiavals because I sent you one. I still don't know if RussProv intends to play - he hasn't replied to my PM either. So just go ahead then and I will sanction the match provided Russ is not very upset about it. I am not bothered about playing myself.

Tiavals, I sent the PM, it sat in my out-box for three days, then I deleted it because the message it contained had become obsolete. Are you underway with Leonidas048 now? That is, have you accepted the challenge and started the game?
