Has soon as i'm taken to the screen and click something is crashes. Now i haven't started it up again so it may be random. Or a problem for this mission.
Well, if the problem persists, could I ask you to upload a savegame just prior to the crash somewhere?
I looked at the briefing, campaign and scenario files, and everything appears to be in order...

Oh, and thanks for playing my campaign. :)

ok it must of been random one, i have finished the 42 one. I finished this one way in front of schedule. But after i end turn i never get a desive victory sign, or pop up. The game just keeps playing out, and when you finish your game it will be counted has a loss to you. The only idea i can think of is this some atonality problem with the other two minor nations on that mission. Something needs to be checked either with Romania or Hungary. If one of these nations holds an Primary objective it locks you from completing the game. I will post my save game up shortly to show you.

Ah, obviously the Victory Conditions are borked. I just had a look and they ask for 15 objectives while there are only 10 on the map.
You can easily fix that yourself, just cheat the type of victory you deserve or wait for a new version fixing this, which I will release tomorrow.

Thanks for reporting this issue!

I just played Moscow 42 & only had a MV. Now i'm forced to fight in 1943 Kharkov for the recapture, my sites on a sealion 43 may be lost now. Any way theres a few errors i found.

1.)On the Moscow map Smolensk is spelled wrong. I thought i over looked it but when i did find it it was way wrong, spelled like , obltisk.
2. ON the Kharkov map there's a deployment error on 39, 34

Sorry to say, but I couldn't find a misspelled Smolensk on any of the four Moscow maps.
And I haven't been able to determine what you mean by "deployment error" on the Kharkov map, either.
Please be more specific.

In other news, I've uploaded v0.13.

Thank you for making this mod. But I had a question on which "Poland" campaign to run in order to play the Classic mod. Do you mean go to custom scenario and select the Poland Campaign...the 1939 Tutorial Poland...or the main 1939 - 1945 campaign which begins in Poland?

I did launch individual scenarios for North Africa, El Alamein and it appears I installed it correctly but I can't figure out which campaign to launch to start your mod.

@DJ1, if you installed it correctly, the '39 campaign is where you go to start his mod (it replaces the stock campaign with his). Custom scenarios will only launch a single map at a time. You might also consider checking out the Generic Mod Enabler app. With it, you can have multiple mods installed and change between them or go back to the "stock" campaign with ease.

@rezaf, I have also installed your maps in my Scenario folder so I can do recon of an upcoming map or play them as a scenario. So far, the maps are also playable as individual scenarios. Was that part of the plan? If so, found a bug in Sealion 40 map. There is a Me109 fighter that has 200 strength (it shows as 20 strength on the map, but that must be the limit). For the heck of it, I attacked a battleship and it completely killed it plus only lost 5 strength (still overstrengthed at 20, but down to 195 total strength). Couldn't believe that thing and it had me cracking up. That damn fighter was able to destroy everything in it's path: ships or planes are gone with one attack. What an uber pilot!

Yeah, the scenarios are supposed to be playable, and this is clearly a bug, thanks for reporting.
I had to set a lot of units' XP, and obviously wrote the 200 for 2 Stars in the strength field here.
In Moscow 42 I found a unit where the 200 ended up in entrenchment ... dislodging that unit was a bit problematic ...

I'll fix the issue in the next release.
Thanks again.

In my opinion the original campaign plays out fairly well, and it add some features like a Moscow 42 or Market Garden. I know that the Panzer Corps campaign is good too, but felt lackluster with a short campaign & in my view a few oddity's with some of the campaign paths like Kiev i think it is, after the caucuses? . I do recall taking 20+ or so hours to complete a whole game

I feel that this campaign had good as it is, can be enhanced and built better right? adding to it is always better. And with sure to come Japanese units, China, ect, ect you could have some wild campaign games. Thanks for taking the time & whoever else involved to make this available. Since that is about the only thing it does cost you is-----> TIME.

Hammer, while I'm currently mostly trying to play at least a map a day (it doesn't always work out, but I try) plus fixing any bugs you guys discover, I'm also working on expanding the campaign.
I will definately keep the original campaign as an option, but plan on offering a even more extensive alternate campaign.
My current work involves working out equipment for Nationalist and Republican Spain, plus early German equipment to go along with it.
I guess this allows you to take a guess on where I intend to start off the expanded campaign...

If you want to stay close to pz general 3d (especially sconcerning the spanish civil war -> offensive to Madrid), you might want to check my map there viewtopic.php?t=26817 (directly appended to the poland campaign).

You may use any of my work, if it saves you some time :) - feel free to use it. If you got any questions, just send me a pm.

Best regards

thanks for the offer, i'm making a map now, based off a 1965 Avalon Hill game, their first tactical military game, it was named Blitzkrieg, and it had nothing to do with World War 2. True it had a WW2 feeling in nature, but it wa really good, the map looks like an island, with various ecosystems on it, mountains, Heavy Forrest, desert, swamp.

Some probs with pg campaign

Hi, been playing your campaign and think you`ve done a good job! I`m in Moscow 42 now but in the sealion 41 scenario I could`nt start without the Italian navy! I didn`t want to use them but it would`nt start otherwise! Also in Stalingrad I could`nt place any Units on the battlefield! I got around this by Replacing your map with the original and then it worked fine so that I could go on to Moscow with your map! Will let you know if I find anything else! :D

Thanks for playing my campaign, and thanks for reporting these issues - it's really appreciated.
I'll make sure to incorporate these into the next patch, which I'm hoping to have ready by next week.
My apologies for the delay, several things have been keeping me away from my gaming PC.

Out of curiousity, has anybody playing the campaign so far actually finished it?
Most people appear to have stopped playing for some reason or the other...

I just loaded you mod up and started playing. It felt like coming home again after countless years of not being able to play Panzer General. Very nice to be playing that again. Awesome job!
:D

I only was able to play the first scenario so far – since I’m at work and all – but I finished in 9 turns and still got a decisive victory. The between turns screen says with 5 turns left…. Just thought I would mention it.

Got this working now and loving it. Although for some reason I can't seem to get to Balkans / North Africa or Crete campaigns. Basically when I finish France, I am asked whether or not to invade Gibraltar. When I click yes, I am sent to Sea Lion '40. If I click no, the game crashes and still seems to try to load Sea Lion, then it crashes.

I opened Scenarios, Custom, then loaded North Africa. Not sure if that is the only way to play Crete / North Africa but not in the grand campaign? Crete also opens from the scenario, custom load.
