Next book up is Immortal Fire and we have 8 nominations.
Quarter-Final draw (ties to consist of 2x paired games = 4 battles in total, 500pts, FOW and DM on)
1. Indo-Greeks v 28-30th Dynasty Egyptians
2. Late Ach Persians (Bessos) v Skythians
3. Early Gatae v Early Ach Persians (e)
4. Early Colonial Greeks v Later Colonial Greeks
zumHeuriger wants to play one of the paired games involving the Bessos army. Do we have an opponent for him? I would like to play one of the Colonial Greek match-ups. Anyone want to play me? If you fancy playing in one of these paired games please put your name down on this thread. Now we have the new LOEG ratings I will try and match up opponents of similar skill/experience where I can.

OK Ferb. Can you arrange a paired game with zumHeuriger then? Skythians versus Bessos Persians. And I expect I'll be able to fit you into another quarter final match a bit later as well.

You can put me down for any of these pairs. As a thought, the Late Achaemenid(Bessos) list should tear up the S0ythians if played at all well.

Very interesting match-up here. Does anybody else want to do a paired game with one of your regular opponents to constitite the "second half"?

Ferb, if you can take Indo-Greeks versus 28-30th Egyptians next to get that tie underway. I'll send a few PM's out and see if I can get some more volunteers today. Shouldn't take long to get you an opponent.

Do you fancy doing the second half of one of the four quarter-final ties with me, TGM? Indo-Greeks v Egyptians (paired game) perhaps?
And to everyone else - zumHeuriger (Tom) is available for another paired game. Is there someone who wants to play him. Either the Colonial Greek match-up (Early v Later) or Gatae versus Ach Persians (e).
