Don't tell my boss, but productivity has pretty much ground to a standstill this afternoon as I read the new version. The part that has caught my attention the most, so far, are the changes to the turn 180 and move rules.

Marc

well, I have to say the impact changes couple with the change to elephants......certainly rather terrifying beasties now...it's a snow day in Dallas so officially I am working.

The reason we never got to play at school*. After leaving school I enjoyed playing with odd shaped balls a lot, because it wasn't all posh southerners.

*Except for 1 year of Rugby League. But the PE teacher left injured after that.

BTW Tim Asda are now selling Henry Weston's Vintage in 5L cartons. And I can still type. :D

What's impressive V2 or Phil's resistance to alcohol ...

I did sent a message to all belgian players for ITC ( I cannot go )

And still waiting for V2 . mail box empty, still empty ... :( the loneinless is there, when will we commit suicide

Well I suppose JD has a lot of work and a lot of pressure . Now we have to learn patience, be stoïc ...and ... courageous while reading the happy thoughts of the other players 8) .

Wow! Love the elephant changes. I've been adding some elephants into my Successor army just because I think the models are cool, but now, I can't wait to try them out with these rules.

The Roman changes are also nice, along with the rear support for large units, the increase in importance of the impact phase, and the cohesion test changes.

Can't wait to have some test games.

Hi There

Can't get in forum yet so before I forget:

Page 26 The table for simple complex moves

Double wheels A forward move including 2 wheels

Page 29

Wheeling para

In red no wheel or double wheel can exceed a total of 90 degrees

No worry just a thought that might save mix up why not add the explation about the 90 degrees to the Table on pge 26.

Not a complaient just a thought.

You would have to ask JD. I am not party to the final list.

However, for those who did miss out this time, there is actually nothing to stop you trying out the changes as summarised (if you don't play in rules-lawyer mode and worry too much about the exact wording).

The next beta group will be larger, and we envisage it beginning in a month or so.
