No effect. You will have a new list of Beta Maps Pack 2 to choose from, that´s all (which you will end up using all the time since they are much improved)
You have internet on the boat?

I wish. No, we are on a delay. Water levels are down at the marina and we can't get out of the slip until the wind direction changes or the wind dies down. Reevaluating at noon today.

Sorry Guys
I did reply after I talked to Hidde but on a different thread.
I will win both games against BernD. Only 2 turns to go in our last game.
I have PMd Acerak about the 2nd round games.

Sleet, please set up our games and PM me with passwords. Thanks.
What is the deadline for completing this round?

The instructions for the Beta 2 scenarios say...
"The Beta maps will appear at the bottom of your list of missions when issuing new challenges all clearly marked with the BETA 2 tag."
They don't show up when I try to issue the challenge to Sleet. Only the old D-Day +3 shows up. Any ideas?
Fair winds,
Phil

Hi SailingGuy
Where have you installed the Beta 2 scenarios? Dependant on your operating system it's going to be a BBCBA\Multiplayer folder within your My Documents (XP )or Documents (Vista) folder.
Cheers

I followed these instructions...
"You must extract this zip to My Docs\My Games\BBCBA. You know if it is in the right palce as you will be overwriting the current Multiplayer folder. The Beta maps will appear at the bottom of your list of missions when issuing new challenges all clearly marked with the BETA 2 tag. You shold complete all existing games on the original Beta map pack and then delete the Beta map pack folders."
I'll try it again. Thanks.

Nope. Still no dice. Not sure what to do at this point. could someone send me a screen capture of that folder and I could compare what I have in mine to what they have in theirs? (philfry at juno dot com). That might be a start.
I'd hate to have to forfeit this round just because I can't load the scenario.

Did you delete the Beta Map folders as suggested in the instructions? Maybe you actually deleted the whole thing...
It´s not strictly necesary to play Beta Map Pack 2 to delete Pack 1. You can actually have both, although for tidiness issues is better to have just the latest.
Wild guess.

I can't find a Beta Map folder. Can you post a link to the location of the instructions. I thought I had followed them. Or maybe a screen shot of what I should have in that folder. Thanks.

Now I see my problem. I don't have the Mass Effect or Bloodbowl folders.
Actually that did the trick. Once I set up that file structure everything fell into place. Thanks.

Wondering how you guys are doing in Second round...
Arminius and I had already our clash of armor in both games (played 5/6 turns already). Seems Axis is gonna have a tough one again in this scenario and if not illuminated by Goddess Fortune, it will be a tricky path to victory trying to steal as many flags as possible while being smashed to pieces...
But is fun. Great fun as usual

My game against Logan5 with me playing the Germans is all but over. It was over already in the third or fourth turn after a terrible deployment by me wich Logan made use of perfectly.
The other game is progressing much more slow but so far I'm in the lead. He will most certainly take all VP:s and hopefully I will be able to do so as well. Then it's down to number of kills once more.

Due to my problems getting the scenarios set up, Sleet and I haven't even started yet. I'll try to take my turns as quickly as possible in order to catch up. I'm not sure what time zone Sleet is in. I'm in Eastern US Daylight.

paulolszanski2 and me are finished. Both Allied wins with all flags. paulolszanski2 lost 10 more units though so I progress I guess.
