I have no folder at all in my documents with regard to BA.
My game with kkophonia moves along without a hitch. And it's fun to boot. I think you have done a great job :D
I just saw you sent a turn. I'll try to play and see what happens.
lol strange, ok. Maybe I put a multiplayer folder in there for no apparent reason because I like to make things more difficult for myself heh.

Well that's good to know.

I'm glad you like it. Feel free to give me any other feedback you run into, balancing questions, et cetera.

Game pinching...

But I made a challenge of my own and that one shows up correctly. Lets rock!
Is your name IanDavidSmith in game? I didn't see your challenge, but someone started a game with me!
That would be me ......

If you grab the map and then set a challenge, people looking at the list will be able to tell whether they have the map, or whether they need to grab it.

Cheers

Great!
Our game is a real nailbiter. I can't compose myself and write more before I know the outcome. Please make your turn :D

Ha, you beat me pretty good Hidde.

I've played this map about 5 times against another person and I'm losing nearly every match. That tells me balance seems to be pretty good. Or I'm just a terrible player, which is entirely possible, too. :P

Well, I think you've done a great job with this. I find it very nice that the two sides play so differently.
As the Germans you must find and destroy the guns. It's dangerous but must be done in a methodical and at the same time safe(as possible) way.
You can call it straightforward compared to the way one play the Americans(or I do anyway).
As Americans it's the opposite; find good spots for the guns but above all try to keep them moving. Don't let them stay in place once they fired and been spotted. They are vulnerable. The two tanks the Americans have is also essential and must be used with caution. I had great luck with them and without the combined effort of guns and tanks it should be very hard to stop the German panzers.
Balance? I think it's pretty fine. The Americans were harder for me. More moving about and stay hidden and finding good spots for the guns with fields of fire (but not too obvious).
Again, good job with this one 8)

Thanks :)

Personally, I find it harder to play the Germans, but I guess the US is just more my style of play on this map. The next map I make is going to be US assaulting a fortified German force, so the roles will be reversed a bit. :)

I downloaded your file and everything from the zip resides in Multiplayer folder (says Maps by Insidus under Multiplayer) but when I try and accept your challenge it says I need your campaign and map. I just Unziped it into Slitherine/Battfield Academy and I assumed everything auto placed from there. Seemed like it did but no go with challenge. Any ideas?

I downloaded and unzipped and it appeared to work just fine but when I go to "My Challenges" it show a line like this:
"Missing_IDS_campaign_name" in yellow and no name beneath to click on.
Ha, I fiddled some before I clicked submit and when I took the folder "Maps by Insidius out of the MULTIPLAYER folder it worked.
It now show in the list. There is also a scenario by the name "Temp" with the somewhat odd description BLAH BLAH :D
Quoting myself but I think that may answer your question.

Zonso - did you find yourself an opponent? Our multiplayer battle the other week was a blast and it would be fun to try insidius' scenario. Or if anyone else would like to try it with me...?

OK thanks. So you took it out and put it where? The whole folder?

"Maps_by_Insidus" is within the folder "MULTIPLAYER" when downloaded.
In BA there allready is a folder "Multiplayer"
I, so to speak, took out "Maps_by_Insidus" from his "MULTIPLAYER" folder and put it directly in the "Multiplayer" folder within BA.
I don't know how to explain this any better in english, sorry.
