I've not heard of Fragmotion - is it a free tool? I can look at an exporter, but the overhead for learning the package and its SDK/scripting is usually quite high. But if it is a free package that people could use, then I would be willing to take a look.

Cheers

Unfortunately it is cheap ($50) but it is not free, I use it to make Panzer Command models because his directx importer/exporter works well and it is quite easy to use. I made the Semovente and I textured it with fM, then Merr animated and exported it with Blender. http://www.fragmosoft.com/

Pip, benpark asked about fragmotion way back during beta testing. He and JMass have contributed very many of the 3D models in Panzer Command.

While fragmotion is not free, it is said to be a lot easier to work with than blender.

Hi Pip, any news on my questions?

Sorry - things have been pretty hectic the last few weeks. Can you give me a list of which units would be most useful to you, and the format you want them in (I assume .3DS?). I'll then get Richard to get me the files.

Cheers

Thanks Pip, the most useful units should be (in parenthesis to do what):
Sherman (M3 Grant-Lee)
Bishop (Valentine)
M3 Stuart (junk2drive's M3A1)
M13 (M11-39, L6-40, Semovente L40)
Pz III (Pz III N)
Daimler or Panhard P178 (Sdkfz 222, AB-41, Fiat-SPA 43 AS42 "Sahariana")
Pak 40 75mm (Pak 38 50mm)
2pdr (Italian AT 47/32)

less useful:
M3 Halftrack (75 mm Gun Motor Carriage M3, M4 mortar carrier)
Crusader (Crusader III)
CV33 (CV33 flame)
Marder III (Pz 38t)

I prefer the format .x over .3ds, if possible.

OK - I will see what we can do. It might not be until after Xmas now though, depending on when people are working.

Cheers

It could be fine in January also, thanks!

Hello, Old Pals!

Adding Fragmotion support would be great, as a few of us know it better than 3DS (though I'm getting better at it). Much appreciated.
