I think it's me, although we should probably wait for some official confirmation.

We can always wait until all the first round matches are played.

Hi All, good to see some first round results are in, I'd rather wait until all the first round matches are completed before starting the second round games if that's ok, as it makes it easier for me to keep track of. If all results are in before the deadline we can kick off the next round early though.

cheers
Matt

I lost to Morbio. Haven't got the actual result on hand at the moment, but it's a knockout so I don't suppose it matters. ;)

I'm maybe halfway in my game against the panther...no one should be surprised to know that my defeat is already without doubt

He has a taste for anihilating Gallic Hill Tribes I'm afraid. My lads are being eaten alive in our league game!

Ps Yann is currently kicking my butt in this tourney too, but I will fight to the last man. It ain't over 'til the fat lady routs.

I'm at work at the moment, but I'll post the result when I get home. All I can say for now was that the result was in the balance up to the last couple of turns, as often happens, when a side collapses it goes quickly and the points difference doesn't reflect the closeness of the game.

Thanks Amaz_Ed for such a fun and well-fought game :)

You are very kind. It was an enjoyable game of the kind that you don't mind losing.

Here is the result of the Deeter vs. Xiggy match:

Seleucids (Deeter): 19/38 Win
Gallic: 53/52

The Seleucids were lucky in that the mass of Gallic mounted had to thread a narrow gap to get at their right flank. This was easily sealed by a few Cats and MF while the pikes concentrated on routing the enemy foot without interference.

Thanks for the game, Xiggy.
