It's a change made because it was somewhat silly that a light tank could chase a King Tiger around the map with impunity once it was suppressed. Now suppressed armour will take reaction shots at easy targets, but with heavy penalties.

Could we have an explanation as to what these heavy penalties may be?

I believe suppressed units get their chance to hit and/or damage halved.

First play with 0.9 - DDay Linkup. The AI of the attacking armor is causing them to go back and forth between to squares, making them look lost

Capture the fort - on turn 3 a msg appears saying the artillery is ready pops-up even if it's just been fired and is not actually ready

We did indeed remove the Scout order as it just wasn't working gameplay-wise.

Thanks for all the bugs and feedback.

Should infantry units be able to deploy from a bren carrier onto a cliff tile?

If they can then move around on cliff tiles, then yes. If they can't then it's a bug. Whether they should be able to move on cliff tiles at all is another matter.

Can you let us know which map it occured on, and where.

It happened on frontal assault. The units could deploy onto cliffs and were able to move off them, however they couldn't move back onto the cliff under thier own steam. It was quite handy for taking out some of the enemy defences

Played the new beta upto 'Frontal Assault' and its playing nicely. The game looks and feel polished. Hopefully I'll get chance to finish the desert campaign tomorrow.

In the Central Plateau on-line map, there is an exploit where you can unload infantry onto the cliff, then they can march up onto the plateau. I didn't understand how Strebe was able to do that. Now I know :P

When the game is closed and restarted previous achievements are lost and campaign progress reset.

Oh, and putting the lock on campaigns is just cruel!!!

Achievements should be saved with each end of battle. The campaign progression I am working on as we speak - together with locking them to force you to play in the right order, as it was confusing people when trying to complete campaigns.

Note that doing a save then load should keep your progress, it's just not automatic in the version you have.

Is there a way we can bipass the campaign locks? (for testing purposes, you understand!).

I've been working back through the desert campaign again today (to try to unlock the D-day missions). After sucessful completion of 'Frontal Assualt' the campaign did not progress to the next mission, but stayed on frontal assualt. When I flicked back through the other completed missions none of the acheivments have been saved.

I do love this game, but I'm a bit tired of the desert missions now!

Loaded my save game from the start of Frontal Assault and completed it again with all objectives complete. The campaign still did not move onto the next mission.

Hmm, as a test I jumped to the last scenario in the Western Desert campaign. It didn't seem to unlock the next. I wonder if it's because I have to complete all scenarios in a campaign first or not. But it does indeed seem strange that I can chose any scenario in a campaign to play in any order.
